You ****ing idiot. Read the whole thread. No one on this thread has said Duran was slow. Get his salty, Panama balls out of your mouth for a while and have a look what was actually said.

Man, I'm a sick of every little cretin just yearning for the day they could stand on all fours in front of a bearded, snarling Duran; so oversensitive towards anything that could be a slight against their great deity that they jump on every word like overcharged Al-Quada members on a ****ing Muhammed caricature.

You ****ing ***gots, you. I despise the lot of you. (Yes, I'm a wee bit drunk).

I dont get when people say Winky wasnt that fast but just had great timing etc etc... In his prime i think Winky had very quick hands and he was always faster than Tito, especially at the time they fought...

Glen Johnson V Roy Jones springs to mind...

There's several others though, all depends on where the 'faster' fighter is at that stage of his career.

It's Mendoza playing with stats again desperately trying to make the Klits look good, as far as I can see it.

Oh **** that brings me to the argument ender. Sanders v WALDO.

Could even argue VITLAY v Lewis actually seeing as it was actually 3-3 or 4-2 to Lewis on the cards to anyone that actually knows how the **** to score a fight.

No way, No how did Ayala deserve either one of those decisions against Tapia. anyhow,
    Bobby Chacon versus Cornelius Boza-Edwards
Dave Tiberi versus James Toney (very bad dec.)
Max Schmeling - Joe Louis I ( Schmeling would have won a dec.)
    Jake Lamotta vs. Ray Robinson

Dick Tiger vs Jose Torres - But I´m not sure about who was the slower fighter at that point.....

Tiger was. Torres was actually quite fast with his combinations. Didn't stop Tiger from getting the better of him though. Tiger vs Benvenuti is also a great example.

The best one i can think of is the classic Duran v Barkley fight where Duran was 2nd in all physical departments.

Another one is Holmes v Mercer, who was older and slower, but that one dosen't count as Holmes was taller than Mercer.

This is a good thread but there is alot of useless arguments going on.

I actually scored the first fight a draw, and although many thought Tapia won it wasnt controversial either.... Now i agree with you on the 2nd fight thought Tapia won that fight convincingly, i would say he got robbed.

Chacon-EDwards is a good call , i remember feeling sorry for Chacon and worried hed get hurt,, But wow what a comeback he made true Blopd and guts warrior.:bbb

Re-read the topic. I am looking for examples of older, slower, and shorter winning a decision over younger, faster, and bigger!
