Are there any fighters in history you think could beat a prime Roy Jones?

    Around and around we go.

    Who?

    What were the circumstances?

Come back when you've had some rest.

We'll debate who he didn't fight.

Sugar Ray, Golovkin could.. I'm sure he'd land a few big ones on RJJ and with his weak chin they could KO him... I can't see GGG being KOed even by RJJ...though I think RJJ would win on points, Joe Calzaghe with his volume and movement could outpoint prime RJJ. Hagler might but that would be a real battle

When i think about it, any big puncher with good boxing skills and footwork could beat prime RJJ, if RJJ had Golovkin chin he'd be almost untouchable. Roided Roy that is

    Prime RJJ was practically unbeatable.

RJJ would have embarrassed a fighter like ggg. I can't think of any that could touch RJJ, though I do remember wanting to see RJJ vs Gerald McLellan back in the day who would have had a chance.

My boy Roger Sr ethering Roid's ass

Money didn't spend his prime avoiding savage punchers like the plague like Roid did. In fact, he fought them when he was way past it and still didn't even get put on his ass, let alone laid out cold on his front/back like that lil' glass-jawed sissy Roid did half a dozen times.

Still living Lifestyle Flashy while Roy is eating pot noodle and running from the taxman like he did from savage punchers all throughout his steroid-enhanced prime. :deal:

Lol- you do realize that this doesn’t really address my reply to you, right? That’s cool, I’m sure you’re just trolling and it is kind of funny. But you do raise a good point, even if inadvertently: I bet there isn’t a single fighter alive today isn’t envious of Floyd’s finances. Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Tyson, Holyfield, Manny, Holmes, and especially Roy. I remember watching the baldomir fight with people actually booing and walking out. Floyd couldn’t even sell out in Michigan. I never could’ve believed that he would someday soon become the wealthiest athlete in the world and would smash all ppv records! The only thing greater than his incredible timing in the ring would turn out to be his timing on who to fight and when and how to self promote. It’s interesting that when he was a genuine badass in his 130 days he couldn’t draw but when began his safety first style that he convinced crowds to buy his fights. One of the best fighters to ever lace them up and the best at self promotion. Ali himself could’ve taken pointers from Floyd.
