Are there any fighters you prefer to watch their "green" version in comparison to their "prime"?

Bivol was known as an explosive KO artist early in his career before becoming more renown for his boxing skills.

Though personally, I enjoy watching any "version" of Bivol fight.

For the people writin' Lewis, honestly, I can understand that: lean, undefined Lewis got a bit more slickness and bravado in his fighting that he kinda lost as he proceed to bulk-up in order to overwhelm his opponents in the clinch.

naaah fr if I had to choose I would always watch the pre-Mayweather schooling, "rise of a star" version of Canelo than the current, post-Bivol schooling cherrypicking one.

Lewis. He had so many holes in his defense, his balance was poor and his jab was underdeveloped pre-Steward but all those things combined with his aggressive approach made his fights quite exciting. I am sure the more polished and experienced Lennox would've had far less problems vs Bruno and past-prime Tucker, and would've outboxed McCall, but those fights would be certainly more boring with Lennox leading the fight and rarely being hit at all.

Older Lennox had his fair share of exciting fights, but there were borefests as well (Akinwande, Tua) and not many of his later fights were competitive.

I prefer all Irish boxers wear green. So I’ll go with Micky Ward.

I remember one time either ESPN or USA Network weekly fights landed on St. Patrick’s Day and they had every fighter in either green trunks with white stripes or white trunks with green stripes and introduced each fighter as “Irish” (insert name here) — didn’t matter if they were black, white, Hispanic, whatever. That night, everyone was Irish.

There’s also that line from the great boxing comedy movie “The Great White Hype,” where the challenger says he’s not Irish when they give him the nickname “Irish” Terry Collins when promoting the fight.

“Don’t worry,” the publicist character played by John Lovitz tells him. “It just means you’re white.”
