Yes. Russian middle weight Korobov is a great talent. You might say an amazing talent. The speed, power, skills, and smarts are there, plus he will fight tough. Wow. If Korobov goes pro, ( he says he will after the games ) he is a good bet to win a world title belt.

I also think his teammate Artur Beterbiev has great skills, and might be the most exciting fighter to watch. Beterbiev is a light heavyweight.

Cammarelle or Timurizev are the best heavyweights. Its a pity they draw each other so soon. One of these two is getting broze, but he will be better than the silver guy.

Below is an article on Korbolev.

Warren is out of the Olympics. He could not make weight and was found ill. He says he will be going pro soon. He shoudl make a heck of a fly / bantam.

Deontay Wilder - If the current weight limit for the Cruiserweight division stays 200 pounds (and he is smart enough to stay there) he should be quite a force. He is tall and "fights tall" very well. The kid has a nice jab and should do well in the olympics as his style scores well with the judges.
The transition to the pros will be a matter of training - a good trainer could make him a good champion.

    I've watched him work out.

    The raw material is there.

I believe that at this point Wilder is the only remaining Aamerican with a shot at an olympic medal. This has been a disaster for the US boxing team...

I have not seen Price yet. I agree with everything you said. I'm rooting for Price over Cammarelle, because I think he will go pro, and boxing needs a fighter from the games who will draw the fans.

I still think Cammarelle is the best of the bunch, unless the chineese or Ukraine fighter improved a lto since i have last seen them.

Not entirely unexpected I'm afraid. America is simply not producing fighters anymore.

yep the scoring has sucked and it looks like they wanted to get rid of most of the favs early in the tournment...

also the russian boxers getting screwed is bad too, also some others fighters also got the same....

maybe the worst case is this...

some thought he would win the whole thing.... but u can't fight refs and judges...i will say people had to be paid off here...if not please explain this...

this is beyond a robbery...the chinese guy looked like he didn't even know how to box

Total crap. Too bad. Beterbeiv is a real talent. He was not robbed, he was cheated. The judges did not score 1 point for him in round 2, 3, and 4? The Chineese fighter kept falling down and clinching, and was out landed.
