in the last few years, we had many great fights. some of them were excellent, some of them were good, decent.

I just want to know, if there is anything left that boxing fans really want to see ?

    I want to see:

    Bud vs Canelo
    Beterbiev vs Opetaia
    Loma vs Tank
    Inoue vs Nakatani
    Bivol vs Benavidez

Arch Stanton and sasto like this.

I don't really want to see Loma knocked out by Tank to be honest, he's too old now ...

Bud vs Fundora/Tszuyu/Ortiz jr. At least one of these because idk how many matches he has in himself, Terence is a fantastic fighter imo that came at the worst time possible.
    Canelo vs Benavidez
    Bivol vs Beterbiev rematch
Inoue vs Nakatani and if the former tries to weight climb there are many opponents that could test him.
    Tank vs Shakur

Read rumors of Loma hintin' at retirement so most likely not happenin' and I'm ok with that, Abdul matchmaking is so classless bro and **** him for trying to age Loma.

Naoya Inoue vs Junto Nakatani at 122 in 2025 which Inoue wins to officially show he is the greatest Japanese boxer ever.
Naoya Inoue vs Junto Nakatani 2 at 126 in 2029 which Nakatani wins to become the next torch bearer.

I'd rather see Ennis move up to 154 and force a big fight with Crawford.

Man, at least the US landscape looks sparse. No young fighters want to clean out a division abs take dangerous fights anymore. It's all about marketing, less actual fighting. Younger fighters aging out the older warriors instead of facing each other and anyone else to get to the top. No one cares about 30 year old prospects who has yet tu try and clear a division, it's just not exciting .

I'm hoping we get some fresh new blood to liven up the landscape

Boxing has hit one of those lulls ATM IMO.

Couple years back a lot of divisions were on FIRE! Now there just isn't the buzz and the excitement of up and coming talent. Hopefully it'll pick back up, but I think we'll be waiting until the next Olympics tbh (2028) until we get that buzz back. Still, there will be hot divisions but I think competition is gonna be sparse for the time being and fewer hot divisions.

Can't deal with the marination of this sport anymore, just a bit silly really. Having over the hill, middle aged men fight each other doesn't have the same appeal as prime, fresh, youthful men smashing 10 barrels of shizz out of one another. I'm out, f this subpar wank.

The ONLY relevant fights for Canelo are Benavidez, Beterbiev, or Bivol rematch. That’s it. He MUST fight one of them.

Legit maybe none of the fights you mentioned will happen. Loma probably done and Canelo not fighting Bud. Dont think Beterbiev moves up and Inoue may be more focused on moving up as his 122lb competition filters away.

I can see Bivol Benavidez - thats it.

Hoping for Bud to unify at 154.
Hoping for Canelo Benavidez at 168.
    Hoping for Inoue to 126.
Hoping for Boots to get an opponent worth a damn.
Hoping for another classic Usyk Fury 2

Bud Canelo would interest me to see how good Bud really is.
Only Loma knows if he still has the legs. If so, he should expose the fraud. The other option would be Inoue at 126, but there are probably too many blocks for that fight.
175 to 200 is just too much, even for Beterbiev.
    Inoue Nakatani is interesting.
Benevidez Bivol Beterbiev are compelled in any combination.
Obviously Canelo Benevidez but we know duckboy won't fight.
