Are there any middleweights that could have beaten all fabulous 4?

Nunn in that small window when he was fluid and confident 1988-1990 could do well with all of them and the fact they were declining when Nunn was at his best gives him a chance at that time. But it would not have been the same as a few years before. The Nunn vs.Hearns fight would be tough for both. That is hard to pick. It would be tactical with Hearns jab being the factor and trying to land his right, which I see more working as a lead right rather than a right following a jab. I see it similar to the Virgil Hill fight just tougher for Hearns since Nunn is southpaw, yet I rate Virgil much higher than Nunn. Hearns might have to win with the jab in that fight again. I don't think the right is going to stop Nunn since I don't think it hits him much.
Nunn vs. Hagler? I think Hagler loses in 1988 but wins in 1982.. vs. the 1989 Nunn. Leonard vs. Nunn? In 1988 Ray is outboxed. Ray is too small for Nunn. Duran would be outboxed by Nunn in the late 1980s also but the 1983 Duran? Matters if Nunn stands still. Hard style for Duran.. Nunn was very good at one point. Sometimes I think the Kalambay fight ruined his style. He started to try to hurt guys instead of use his boxing and it affected his style, similar to how Ray might have done better to not look for the one punch after knocking out Lalonde. Ray really was not a hard puncher at that higher weight.

I don`t think Roy punched as hard as Hearns, you point out that Roy was bigger than Hearns and Hagler but I think both men had a better reach on him and Hearns knocked out a 175 champ. I feel Roy might have been too big for the other two though.

Mugabi hit harder than Toney and Ruiz landed more than Toney who`s punch output was awful v Roy.

This is debatable. At 154 Mugabi had solid power. at 160 who did he show his harder punching vs. than Toney did. I am not a Toney fan at all, but at MW I think he has superior power nevermind the skill needed to actually land clear power punches. Mugabi like Julian gets a little overrated at MW in terms of ability and power.

I thought he landed great shots on Hagler and was a problem for Marvin because he countered nearly every punch with good hand speed, having said that no punch he threw in that fight matched Jackson`s perfect punch Graham, he was a dangerous fighter even at middle.

Ray Robinson. Roy Jones potentially - but I wouldn't bet on it.

I like this. I agree that Hopkins is a gain contender for this, but I just picture him losing to Hearns (I know it's unpopular) but his jab was like silk and imo much better than Hopkins own, he'd definitely have Bernard's respect with that right. I've thought for a while that Hopkins would drop a UD to Hearns, because he wouldn't really have the power to KO (he did) AND the tenacity to hunt for it whilst staying away from Hearns' right.
My grandad used to hate me saying that Hearns would beat Hopkins

I'd pick Hopkins to lose to all - albeit it'd be close. He's not aggressive enough to catch up to either Hearns and Leonard enough times; I also think prime Hagler has answers for everything Hopkins will do and is better at most things.

I couldn`t see Duran with his reach beating a high level defensive fighter like B-Hop.
