Are there any news on who Margarito's next opponent will be?

    I have been reading from some several sources that Margarito's handlers are looking still at DLH. However, it seems that Oscar will most likely take on Manny Pacquiao. Despite this, Margarito will probably aim for the Clottey-Judah winner, especially Judah if he wins the IBF title or Shane Mosley after the Mayorga fight.

    And there is Paul Williams still running around the division as the WBO Welterweight Champion. Shouldn't the match be made for Margarito vs. Williams II for the Undisputed Welterweight Championship? That would settle who is the #1 welterweight.

    yes, the best match right now is Margarito-Williams II. A rematch with Clottey would be interesting, but not as dramatic.
    DLH would no sooner step in the ring with Margarito than he would Wlad Klitchko. DLH would fight Ivan Colderone if he thought he could get away with it.

    He deserves a monster payday against Oscar,then he can fight Williams.

    Bob Arum is not getting along with Goosen (P-Wills promoter) at the moment so unfortunately, that match isn't looking to good. Hopefully they can put their differences aside however, the more most likely opponent at this point is winner of Judah-Clottey or Mosley-Mayorga.

    Margarito definitely deserves a huge payday but there is NO WAY DLH fights Margarito. NO WAY. Especially with Manny Pac as the other candidate. More money to be made with Manny. Pac is a mega star, as is DLH. Put them together and you get a SUPER Mega fight. Plus Pac is the easier fight. Sucks...Margarito is on top and will continue to be ducked!

    Thats the disclaimer i should have added.
    Margo would want and deserve it,but Oscar wont touch it.
    I cant blame him to be honest;its his farewell fight after a great career,and he has a wife and kids.Why fight that unstoppable Beast?

    I would hope he fight Paul Williams, if that can't be done hopefully Berto or Clottey/Judah winner with Paul Williams fighting the other champ and a WW unification fight later.

    From a Margarito point of view, I would like Margarito to dispose of Berto, and then get his unification fight with Paul Williams.

    In the event he beats Williams, then may be the time for a Cotto rematch.
