Are there any real criticisms of Ray Robinson?

I think we’re probably splitting hairs a bit. I’m not questioning Jones’s greatness in and of itself. It’s really only when you measure him against the other greatest of the great fighters that he falls short. But, if I’m measuring him against Sugar Ray Robinson, that’s probably unfair because almost everyone falls short in that comparison.

 

Tbf I think anywhere in the top 100 or so is just splitting hairs. Boxing has a very rich history so we all need ways to make a call as to what ranking someone will be.
