No disrespect intended to Bute & Green, but I would've much rathered Winky & P-W be reserves . Even though they are so much "smaller" (lol pw!) as far as weight for a Super-Middleweight goes. Atleast PW got that fight with Pavlik! Though I still feel for Winky. ;-(
i know, i know. What I'm saying is in spite of that: PW would still be far more interesting than Bute or Green, though!!
I agree but I think for all the wrong reasons. I'm sure most people other than his fans, and even some of his fans, would be wondering first and foremost whether he would be able to withstand a well placed and well timed super middleweight bomb or not...
that's part of what is INTERESTING here. Can he withstand a powerful shot from Taylor? (well, his fight with Pavlik could go a long way to answering this) Can he take a flash power-punch from Arthur Abraham? Can he deal with Kessler's athleticism & well-rounded attack? (ditto for Taylor) Can THEY deal with his reach // or better question, HOW do they go about trying to counter his freakish reach?? How will they deal with his freakish work-rate?
great questions:thumbsup how will he carry the weight in his first fight as a SM in general, in against a top SM at that? will these weight fluctuations claim some of his ring ability in the tourny? how will he deal with the food overseas during the tourny, will the absence of the southern deliciousness he is used to end his career?
