Are there any tall boxers/outfighters that use body punches effectively?

Funeka has pretty good body shots in his toolbox. I like him alot...idk why lol. Casamayor was a sneaky body puncher so was Hopkins. Example? See Hopkin/DLH.

 

Andy Lee has a dynamite body punch and he's a lanky fella

bute has a terrific step back step forward left uppercut to the body


its the type of punch that can fell even the most iron chinned fighters in the sport. its almost impossible to even half recover from in a 10 count

 

Hopkins, though he stopped it in the last few years (but he was effectivly using body punches again during the Pascal fight)

 

Robert Helenius has a spearing kind of body punch that's really effective for him. We'll have to see if that effectiveness sticks as he fights better fighters.

 

PW can actually dig low a bit when he wants to.

 

Marg, Hopkins, and Ward

 

Margarito is tall, and uses body punches well but he is not a "tall boxer" and most certainly not an "outfighter".

 

Bute is a tall guy with very short arms.

 

not to mention neither Hopkins nor Ward are really outfighters.

 

i'd have to say Roy Jones, he's an outfighter (a very entertaining one at that) and of course Tommy Hearns deserves a mention :good

 

Well, Ward can box on the outside but has gotten away from it recently.

Hopkins though...yeah, he's a mugger.

 

O I didn't read the question completely. I thought it just said, "tall fighters that use body punches". Pretty tired from school
