Not for me, at least not anymore. Back in the day I would pay to see RJJ, or Barerra fight, even if I knew that it shouldn't have been a PPV fight. Why, because I loved those fighters and it was like an event.

I haven't felt this for a fighter for quite some time. Now I find myself being judgemental about who guys fight and actualy requiring them to produce something PPV worthy.

RJJ. No other fighter in the history of boxing was as capable of consistently putting on entertaining performances no matter what the opposition was. Just amazingly entertaining.

To be honest I am at that point for Gamboa, even though he is obviously far from being PPV material. I just want to see the guy fight! And I would pay to watch him already......and yes I know people are going to call me nuts, or a nuthugger,,,,or both

Otherwise....no not really. As much as I hate PBF though I must admit that I would probably buy it if he's on PPV as long as some buddies would chip in :D

Not PPV, but to go see live there are definently a lot of guys that I would pay to see regardless of who they were fighting. This might have to do with the fact that I never get any live fights in my area and am thus deprived.

With things like YouTube and HBO replays the following weekend, I can wait a little bit to see my favorite fighters fight, and save a lot of money.

I agree, I'd probably chip in to see Gamboa vs Guzman.

How high will PPV fights end up going? Do you think we'll be shelling out $79.95 in the next couple of years for the biggest fights?
