Are there likely to be any more crossover fighting events such as the Mayweather and McGregor fight?

I watched a vid by MMA channel TheWeasle where the youtuber was asked if it`s likely that Conor will eventually meet Canelo in a boxing match! TheWeasle`s answer was that money talks, so if Conor ever gets fed up with taking in part in MMA promotions or feels he can make more money in boxing, then there is a good chance a match between Conor and Canelo could happen, other than that there wouldn`t be a market for an MMA fighter taking on a boxer unless the boxer got in the cage. AJ has said he might eventually think about it but knows he`d be smashed easily, it`s all a bit pointless, MMA punches witout MMA gloves are weaker than the average boxers punch, that was proven when a fighter like Floyd who hasn`t got a high KO percentage could match one of MMA`s biggest punchers in their bout and eventually stopped him, Conor`s punch before that fight was the biggest myth ever to develop in boxing history, it was really funny.
Do you feel Conor will fight Canelo or any other boxer in the near future?

McGregor has a six fight deal with the ufc but also has the freedom to box if he wants. The fact he put that in the deal suggests he will do so again.

Which boxer do you think would create the most interest if he were to sign to fight Conor?

I could see Wilder vs. Brock Lesnar in a boxing match if he does good numbers vs. Fury and AJ isn’t willing to unify.

People would laugh but it would do massive $$$. Not May-MacGregor $$$ but still huge box office.

Whatever pays the most. Connor won't be successful in boxing but it will pay very good money. Connor losing to an elite boxer doesn't kill his drawing power in ufc as long as he keeps winning.

Conor will not fight Canelo as Canelo would not go "easy" on him like Floyd clearly did. He would get ko'd within probably 2 rds against Canelo.

He might fight again in boxing due to $$$$ but it would only be to pillows fisted Paulie Malignaggi at 154 imo. It would be another circus event. I'm not interested. Win or lose against Khabib I want Conor to stay in mma and prove he is indeed an elite top class 155 lb fighter and that doesn't mean fighting Nate Diaz again.

Would a fight with Malinaggi sell? He`s completely shot at his age surely.

Maybe but Paulie would have to come into the fight in better shape than he did for their crappy sparring clip, what weight would they fight at,? Conor and Floyd fought at light middle and come fight time Conor was far bigger than Floyd.

He needs someone with lots of name recognition. Preferably somebody shot who wouldn't destroy him.

He can only do this once or twice more before the fans get sick of paying to watch him lose to boxers.
