Chavez and Whitaker were. Jones possible, and Floyd no way is he in that class of fighter.. Not when he fights Marquez who is lower in weight and who he knows he can beat easily. Floyd does not help boxing at all.

    The top 3, certainly.

Hopkins, Mayweather, and Pacquiao (especially if he wins tomorrow) could probably all be argued in over each other.

    Pernell Whitaker
    Julio Cesar Chavez
Bernard Hopkins (this guy is criminally underrated by some. He just absolutely walked over Pavlik easily)
    Roy Jones Jr

Please dont mention Lewis in the same paragraph as Mayweather ever again, thats highly disturbing.

Ps. Floyd is a better fighter than both Hopkins & Pacquiao too.

Absolutely. Floyd does not belong close to that class yet. Those guys take on all comers and fought wars.

I think Hopkins has proved his overall ability against better opposition on a more consistant basis than Floyd and that is the only thing I have ever gave a damn about. You can look a million dollars against Gatti, but when you start demolishing Trinidad and Pavlik, you know you have a true ATG.

Im not Floyds biggest fan either due to some of his antics but how can you guys not see/admit he is the best fighter of his generation ?

PBF's resume is not top 50 material..it is his talent that allows to to crack in the top 50..

I actually think his last 2 fights vs DLH at 154 & Hatton were very dangerous & ballsy fights to take personally, he beat Hatton much easier than I thought he would & I thought DLH would be too big for him... he showed me his ATGness in those fights & believe me, I was HEAVILY rooting for Ricky & Oscar but they just were not good enough.

This is somewhat true but you aint gonna do **** without talent so its 1 of the main criteria when judging a fighter & lets be honest, even tho FMJs record could be better, he has still beat some pretty dam good fighters & he is rarely run close in fights, the guy is a boxing genius.
