Boxing is really a relitively cheap sport when you think about it compared to other sports, but if its one thing you should spend some cash on its gloves surley? Marathon runner wouldnt wear a cheap trainer ect. I got a pair of lonsdale 16oz sparring gloves about 2 years ago for £ 60 i think they were. Not sure what that works out to in dollers 100 or so i think. But worth every penny!!

Where's a good place to find some relatively cheap gloves, but good quality?

Both of you are starting to **** me off xD *not literally* I saw some rival gloves, http://www.rivalboxing.com/e/baggloves-e.html

I was considering getting the RB4, but wasn't sure if the synthetic leather would last so might get Rb2's

    anyone dealt with rivals before?

Yes they do ... But I still {as a matter of habit} wrap my hands. But I will say that I work out on a 170lb heavy bag five days a week wit5hout any wrist issues.

BTW - I have a 120lb Hydrocore bag that I used 50% gravel with 50% water to increase the weight to 170lbs.
