just the fact that these 5 fighters are in the same room gets showtime 10 billion bonus points and makes them the most awesome network in the history of networks. Showtime officially rules Take heed HBO * Although i will say that I am a little bit disappointed at the absence of Bute & Andrade in this tournament, that would have been the cherry on the sundae
The Jermain-Arthur thing has me in stitches just thinking about it...don't even need to see it again.
Showtime is pulling power moves and has been giving HBO a run for its money with TV shows and all that. They damn for sure are winning the boxing battle.
you seem lost in the matrix... these people are "Fighting" with their fists... nothing friendly about it.. i know for damn sure if i was their I wouldn't be doing all that smiling
A display of true sportsmanship, I like that. Being nice outside the ring and unleash hell inside the ring. This tournament is the best thing for boxing in the last years by far.
that was after he won though.. I dont give a ****....If i am about to fight someone you wont see any smiles from me.... especially with the significance of the smw tourney...there shouldn't be any friends..
Well, nobody has suggested that they're scrubbing each other with loofahs in the shower. They were doing a photoshoot and the director goaded them all to be silly for the purposes of creating the desired shot. Kessler, Dirrell, and Taylor were obviously professional enough to be like "Okay, **** it, whatever", and Froch and Abraham were obviously only barely comfortable with it. I don't believe they've compromised any of their competitive edges or risked falling deeply in friendship to the point they won't want to use each other's caved in skulls as footholds on the climb to the top. It's not like they went out for orange mocha frappucinos. This content is protected
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl I think acting that chilled cracking jokes aka Kessler style. As he was most chilled out of the lot, as in he knew deep down he knew with deep confidence he could beat everyone. In my opinion I think if your opponent acts that chilled it has more of a physcological impact than your opponent than if someone whose cursing and acting 'badass'. As I believe that shows more fear than anything else
These guys are there to do a job, only psychopaths hate everyone they're going to be competing with, if they're in a competitive sport. A TON of mma guys train together, happily fight each other, then see each other on the mat to train together again as soon as they heal up.
