Ward isn't avoided. He just won't offer top fighters fair terms to fight him.

Plus Andradre pulled out of fights with Charlo and Kobovo. Not the other way round.

 

Because he's practically unbeatable and the purses are tiny at that weight. Top guys make like half a million dollars for a good defense. It ain't like welterweight where you can fight an unranked bum for two mil.

 

Rigo's problem is tv won't put him on so there is less money to be made fighting him. The real money in boxing is made fighting on the networks or on PPV. It isn't that people are avoiding him they can make the same money or more fighting someone else.
