I belive Golden Boy is going to pull out all the stops with their Promotion on May 5th. I expect Top Rank to counter in June.
    May
Floyd Mayweather Jr/Miguel Cotto WBA 154. The mismatch we have all been longing for.
Saul Alvarez/Shane Mosley. WBC 154. Passing the torch or dose Mosley have something left? AKA building Alvarez up with the experance.

Victor Ortiz/Amir Khan. Two young Golden Boy fighters comming off losses looking to get back.

    June
Timothy Bradley/Manny Pacquiao. WBO 147. The gap in abillity is not as wide as Mayweather/Cotto. But while the upset is possible, don't expect it.

Lamont Peterson/Juan Manuel Marquez. IBF/WBA 140. A reward fight for both. Petterson for beating Khan and Marquez for his proformance against Pacquiao.

Mike Jones/Randall Bailey. IBF 147. Jones has a great future in front of him. Bailey is looking for a second world championship. I supect that Bob Arum has big plans for Jones down the line.

If top rank is doing their 4 man tournament, they would put the elimination bouts on their own cards.

That doesn't make it/them deserving to headline. It's fine as a PPV co-feature IMO.

No no I don't think they should be their own PPV event. Just their own Saturday HBO card

In the 90s this could happen, these days every worthwhile fight gets to headline. Marquez and Pacquaio are already having separate cards and I can't see millions being shelled out for Khan-Ortiz, Alvarez against Bundrage or Mosley will be a decent cofeature. If we're lucky maybe Guerrero will be on the card too

Arum already said Marquez/Peterson will headline it's own PPV card...at Cowboys stadium.

And no chance Khan/Ortiz is a PPV co-feature, HBO/Showtime would pay good money for that fight.
