I want Fury to win as Wilder is doing nothing to raise the profile of boxing and the heavyweight division in particular. He's had one mandatory defence in 6 title defences, 1 top 10 ranked opponent who was barely passed medically fit. He's a disgrace and a taint on the tradition and history of the heavyweight division. If he does beat Fury which he should given that Fury is a pale reflection of his former self, then FFS make the Joshua fight so that your BS reign can be halted and consigned to the chip shop paper history books
Disgusting and sad, not hilarious. I might risk sounding like Teddy atlas here, but Boxing is supposed to be one of those things were nationality race etc don't matter and it all just comes down to watching a good scrap
Not unless they count too quickly. If it goes the distance, Fury wins. If it ends by stoppage, Wilder wins.
Wilder's hometown is a couple of thousand miles away from LA. I think people forget how large of a place the US is, even California would be huge compared to most European countries. Now, if there's a stink around the cards it will be due to Al Haymon. Even numerous US fighters have complained about scoring while facing Haymon backed fighters. I've said all along that I expect Fury to be up on the cards when the fight ends. I'm just not confident that will be the end of round 12.
Wilders plan is to knock Fury out , not outbox him. If Fury makes it to the final bell they won't be able to rob him cos he'll likely have won 10-12 rounds. Avoiding a power shot off Wilder is going to be a very tough ask thou.
The distance from London to Moscow is closer than the distance between the state of Alabama and Los Angeles.
I doubt it , this isn't Barclays center where Lou Dibella runs things . Eyes who have paid for the PPV will also be on it, if wilder and Co. get a gift win he will really hurt his marketability to where even casual fans will have had enough of him. They cant afford to do this I think because of a rematch clause on a second fight both have. Wilder really needs to keep this close for a robbery and the only way that happens without a knockout is if fury doesn't throw a high punch count which would be foolish .
That's still not as far as when Andre Ward was in his "home town" of NYC, with a UK judge, and didn't travel ha ha.
