Are Tyson and Lennox examples of how peaking and age are not so clear-cut?

Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson are contemporaries by age, with Lennox born in 1965 and Tyson in 1966. However, the slightly younger fighter hit his peak about a decade before the older one. One man peaked in his early 20s, while the other reached his prime in his 30s.

Hopkins and Jones are a better example.

Given his stature and style Mike Tyson was never destined to have a long shelf life.
