    Dempsey ended Jess Willard's reign.

    Tunney could beat Parker
    Willard could beat Parker
    Bill Brennan could beat Parker
    Billy Miske could beat Parker
    Gunboat Smith could beat Parker
    Battling Levinsky could beat Parker
    Luis Firpo could beat Parker

And yet Dempsey defeated all of those men by KO but they all would have beaten Parker by KO.

Because your trolling is too obvious. To think that they would all ko Parker... I mean, no one would be that crazy!

What in the **** are you people talking about?

I used to like Sharkey before hearing all the delusions today.

He went life and death with a guy who was 16-16, and was potentially in as many as a dozen fixed fights.

Parker would make that man look like a ****ing novice.

You people just back old timey fighters because your pretentious shitheads, that think you sound smart when you talk about fighters that there is such little footage on that people can't call you on your ****.

Sharkey was a good fighter, who would be eaten alive by any top 10 contender today at LHW, CW or HW.

Fury is very interesting. Only has three ranked contenders but two of them are generational wins.

Fury is very much a case that could leap either way.

If he had stayed retired, then he would have been seen as one of the weaker lineal heavyweight champions, and a massive enigma at the same time.

The Klitschko win is very clear as a historical commodity.

The Wilder wins (I will call them wins) could lose a lot of luster, if Wilder gets smashed by Dylian Whyte or somebody worse.

Fury's historical standing could be very plastic, depending upon what happens next, both for him and Wilder!

Where Dempsey was at, at that point in his career doesn't really matter. He still failed to do something that Fury and Joshua did.

    Yes.

On the other hand he has twice beaten the highest-ranked HW in the world or the highest ranked heavyweight in the world excepting himself. That is very, very rare. Off the top of my head - I'm not sure Wlad himself ever did it. And his career lasted forever.

Ok, maybe only Firpo, Battling Levinsky and Jess Willard would KO Parker. That's my final offer! Take it or leave it!

If I remember correctly, Povetkin and Pulev were both #1 with Ring Mag, when Wlad beat them.

Fair enough, that is select company.
