Sharkey today would be a cruiser weight,he would be a joke in the current hw division

He was a solid 200 lbs on a 30s training regime, so I imagine that he could comfortably fight at either cruiserweight or heavyweight today.

I agree, Fury has the best win here. The problem is that Fury has very thin resume outside of Wladimir and Wilder.

He was a natural 200 lbs. I think that with current training, he could make 215 lbs easily. It depends on what he'd prefer.

Most cruiserweights today come in the ring as that anyway.

Eddie Chambers came in as low as 202 lbs in heavyweight fights.

Sharkey could fill out to 215 today without any problems.

So you mentions clearly the only exception. To hold your argument in a burning clove.
A lot of the current cruisers are natural 220 pounders but they are too small for the shw division of today .

These Fury wins are way overrated. He beat Wilder... Big thing ...Maybe Wilder's best win is Stiverne by points.
    And a Stiverne win can't prove a fighter's greatness.
Klitschko win. He beat an aging Klitschko who lost to Joshua by ko also. And this klitschko fight was a boring, pathetic
    thing without quality.

This comment is ridiculous , fury schooled a much better version of wladimir than the one that Aj barelly could beat getting up to the floor to win in a war against a finished wladimir inactive for 2 years. Like i said, Fury and Aj are not a pack, Fury has The better career

I base it on relative strength of opponents, I don't want to talk here about 1920s vs 2010s heavyweights.

The bottom line is that he would be able to compete in either division, and which he chose would come down to his personal preferences.

Any 200 pounder from today could fight at 210 at hw so what? Another thing is if they could beat anyone good in the hw division

I am sure that he could.

Whether he would be champion is of course another matter.
