But you would also favour Tommy Burns to defeat Wilder, and Corbett to beat Tua... so how can you expect anyone to believe anything you say?

Bizarre how a question about who is greater than who has devolved, yet again, into a series of questions about who would beat who.

I think if they both retired today, that one could make a case for AJ being greater. Outside of Wilder and Wlad Fury's resume is pretty thin and he's made no title defenses. Not saying that I would rank AJ above Fury, I probably wouldn't seeing as Fury's two best wins are much better than any wins on AJ's resume, but I think it's arguable.

Isn't that what happens 90% of the time?

    Yes, hence, "yet again".

Well then it's just due process.

    Nothing wrong with due process.

Even if it were due process it could still be bizarre. Either way, when a group of people consistently misunderstand a simple concept it's more bizarre than when they occasionally do so.

    You're spot on.

There's a lot of Fury diehards who won't accept that though.
It's understandable, Fury is proper likeable and relatable, too many people like to lump that in with his legacy though.

I once had someone on the forum tell me Fury was greater on the basis he came back from depression.
    Makes sense right?

You might be right, but you are also the minority.

That by definition makes you weird, just saying.

This thread and other threads similar seem to be made just for creating boxing disorder. So many knowledgeable posters waste time insulting each other’s opinions.

And these opinions are never fully fleshed out in the first place. It almost seems like you don’t like boxing or take each other seriously. Then what is the point of coming here. To waste each other’s time. Logout.

    Mike Tyson is better than...
    Roy Jones is better than...
    Dempsey isn’t better than...

With that said. Joshua is was out down and essentially quit against Ruiz...then ran for a Ruiz who didn’t train one moment for this fight. Is he really better than Dempsey.

When is he going to fight Wilder or Fury? If there was only one champion in the heavyweight division who would you pick because as it stands I with all of the title, there never really is a champion. Just a bunch of titlist.
