Its a good test so props to Amir. The only reason I hate was because all of boxing was acting like he's the 2nd coming of christ for just beating 2 guys who combined couldn't bust a grape.

He is good boxer regardless of his weakness, all fighters has one or two, just because he seems to not have a good chin, it doesn't mean he can't b successful, besides Prescott pack a good punch is not that he was ko by Calderon. Norris was very good and he had a weak chin.

    Others see it differently:

He got blown away in devestating fashion with everyone writing him off, and we saw how he reacted.

A move up in weight, and World Champion in less than a year

    Fair play to that clown.

:nono C'mon LukeO, everyone knows youre the clown.

Since that loss he fought a comeback against a can and then:

1 - Barrera (past prime but not definitely not shot)
2 - Kotelnik (showed against Alexander he is world level)
3 - Salita (OK he was ****, but still, 1st round KO)
4 - Malignaggi (very good boxer coming off great performances against Diaz)

So he fought a wiley veteran, a prime experienced title-holder, a very good boxer-mover and barely lost a round (unlike Alexander). Now he is fighting a brutal puncher, the final step that was needed. What more could he have done?

whoever knows boxing and i expect people from this forum knows about it, knows that Khan is 120 times a superior boxer than maidana,If khan is able to stay outside and box-wich i expect-he should get an easy win... but everybody knows he doesnt have the best chin, and maidana can throw some bombs. It could be a shotout UD for Khan, or it could be anothe Victor Ortiz kind of fight.I dont think Roach will allow Khan to stay close to maidana.
my prediction is khan UD,or even win late by KO

    Absolutely.

He has to figure him out. Can't just mix it up right away with Maidana.Like he did with Prescott.I know he won't make the same mistake.Maidana get's slow and sloppy as the rounds go by that's when it will a one-sided beat down and it's curtains from there.

I became a fan of Khan when he beat the **** out of that loudmouthed, ignorant, POS Malinaggi.

During the post fight interview he didn't come across as arrogant. He seemed pretty down to earth to me.

Ill probably never be a 'fan' of Khan in the true sense. I pretty much know who i will become a fan of and who i wont, based on various reasons, and Khan just isnt the type id usually become a fan of most of the time, however, that doesnt mean i wont respect any accomplishments hes able to do or view him in a negative light eather. This is a huge step forward for him against Maidana, if hes able to beat him then thats a huge, huge positive and goes a long way to solidifying his status, and of course would be huge for his fans as well.

I dont see the big deal, Maidana is all TV hype due to a couple of knock out wins . I watched him against Corley and his is crude and below average . A couple of notches below Juan Urango . Khan if he is going to be as good as his potential should not lose a round.
