SRL, yes to a certain extent, everyone knows he had that fight the right fight at the right time in him, see his history with Hagler.

Anyways, not Ali, Ali didn't cherry pick, he earned his reputation by beating the best of the best, that simple. SRL did fight the best, and won, but some of us take a long look at the longevity of his dominance, and the Hagler situation.

    what a crock o ****

read my post again cos you obviously didn't read it first time and was scared to quote it this time next to the bull**** you just wrote

"here is bernard hopkins best 6 wins broken down, take away the smoke and mirrors, the hbo and ring magzaine brainwashing and this is what your left with

    trinidad
    prime weight = welterweight (147)
fought hopkins at middleweight (159)
trinidads record at middleweight or above from hopkins onwards = 2 wins / 3 defeats

    winky wright
prime weight - light middleweight (154)
fought hopkins at - 170 lbs
in 57 fights, the hopkins fight was the only fight that wright had weighed over 160 lbs (a full 10lbs difference) :rofl

    de la hoya
    prime weight - welterweight (147lbs)
fought hopkins at - middleweight (160lbs)
de la hoya only fought twice in his career at middleweight out of 45 fights -1 win / 1 loss - the win was a very debatable decision over eurobum felix sturm

    pavlik
prime weight - middleweight (160 lbs)
fought hopkins at - 170 lbs
in 34 fights pavlik had only fought 2 minnions at the beginning of his career at 169. all pavliks fights since hopkins have been at the 160 limit.

    tarver
    prime weight 175
great 2 weight jump from hopkins and his best win despite tarver being a b-level fighter and going 3 wins / 3 losses from hopkins onwards.

    johnson
prime weight -super mid / light heavy (162 to 175)
fought hopkins at - middleweight (160)
    johnsons record at 160 + from hopkins onwards - 19 wins / 14 defeats / 2 draws
the defeats have come against people of the level of ottke, woods, shieka, gonzales, harmon, branco, vanderpool, Kiwanuka, sosa

then throw in hopkins 4 defeats to the only top class fighters he ever fought at a fair weight (jones, calzaghe, and taylor twice) and you get a true reflection of the career of bernard hopkins"

1 - hopkins cleared out the weakest middleweight division of all time

2 - don't give a **** about jones, he is a proven banned anabolic steroid drug cheat with a disgracefull glass jaw

3 - you said i didn't mention trinidad and glen johnson :nut - look above dip****. you called glen johnson great, thats the funnest thing i have ever heard. johnsons record since hopkins is 19-14-2. you call that great you ****in idiot, he's lost to shite like ottke, sheika, and Kiwanuka

4 - ****in joppy  list me joppys 5 best wins. how old was duran and at what weight was the fight you ****ing clown?

5 - vandepool list me vanderpools 5 best wins?

6 - bernards whole career is smoke and mirrors, beating up smaller men at weights where they had no chance whilst hopkins has 4 defeats to the only top class fighters he ever fought at a fair weight (jones, calzaghe, and taylor twice). this is the true reflection of the career of bernard hopkins :deal

Reposting the same post that I absolutely destroyed twice is a sign of failure. Nice try though.

Just a reminder, even though I completely dominated Headbanger, the original post of this section was as follows. I know the hardcore boxing fans agree with me because my offline friends who are hardcore fight fans that I watch fights with, we all think the same way about these overhyped pussies.

Did I say he was merely a flashy fighter? I said he was overrated because of his flashy style. Duran is arguably a greater fighter yet how many mainstream fans know about him? :think

are you serious? duran and leonard are some of the most well-known fighters in history and anyone who has heard of one of them has heard of the other

I'm talking about mainstream fans. People who think there are only 3 weight divisions in boxing. These people know SRL but only a few of them know about Duran.

Its because we live in a mediocre age ..People elevate mediocrity today with everything ,Music ,Movies ,Chicks ,Sports you name it ..This is why Floyd can only fight once a year and and make million dollar paydays .Hey he's the greatest we can wait a year because this is the best in boxing when really this isn't and its not a knock on him ..

Yeah well I'm just joking with you but your posts come off as a bit childish even though you seem to have some knowledge, even though it seems quite a bit biased towards UK fighters and you have an agenda against United States fighters.
