never boxed am only white color fights
    train now regular
the white color me and mates do is organised by my mate every year and who ever wants to fight can fight as long as there isnt too much weight difference

I train a couple times a week, but not had any fights yet. After uni is over in May I'm looking to ramp it up and get some later in the year.

Seriously though i think there cups at end of night, don't think there's championships. Have a search around though..

A bird called Nina Cranston (facebook) does white collar shows. She's talkative bird..;)

I have for quite a while actually. there is a new gym opening near where I work. has boxing facilities. it is a gymbox. so lots of boxing classes but standard wont be that high probably. my plan is train hard, get fit and have a few fights. i will do a lot of padwork with my housemate and sparring drills with him too. bit of sparring then have a few white coillar fights and see how they go.

if im fit and get down to a reasonable weight I think I will do ok. win more than I lose anyway.

after that I will find something else to occupy myself fitness wise. I would love to own a gym but realisitically it is far more likely I would just help out in an amateur gym a couple of times a week. I have some firm ideas on how boxers should be trained and the drills which need to be repeated endlessly till they become instinct. so i do think I would be a good trainer. and im sure it will happpen one day :good

my story is pretty much the same as most people who have posted, i was a boxing fan and loved watching the big fights, i first started sparring as a youngster about 11 years old with the kids on the estate we never had any boxing gloves but somebody had some cricket gloves so we use to wear 1 each and go at it!! i loved it even if it ****ed my nose up, when i moved into footie i always found the local gym of the team i was playing for, i remember sparring a young ross berkinshaw at glyn rhodes gym when i was at sheff utd he was only 12 and gave me a good going over! this carried on until i got to peterborough united and was looking for a boxing gym to go to, thats when i bumped into gary de roux and started training with him, bags pads and a bit of body sparring, i was 24 and was looking for a new path to go on and all i enjoyed was boxing so against garys advice i decided to give it a go,he decided that if i was adament i was gunna do it with or without him it would be better for me to do it with him, i made my debut at 26 and 5 years later im still in there giving it a go, after my career comes to a end ill stay in boxing in some capacity for the rest of my life, i dont mean this as disrespect to anybody but im glad im not on here now talking about something i wished id have done when i had the chance, sometimes you just have to roll the dice, thats why sometimes fighters get pissed off with getting stick off experts who have never been smacked in the mouth in there lives

my long distance running, sprints, bench press and any other kind of training will be up there with most decent level amateur boxers.

just because i like boxing doesn't mean you have to box. thats being full of ****.

I was also a long distance runner for my school way back then. football was my passion rather than boxing if truth be told
