You'll struggle to find anyone over here that likes him. Seeing as I pay about 17 bucks a month for all the UFC shows I'm not too bothered.
Anyone who likes this card would absolutely LOVE a Klitschko fight. Hey! Wlad is fighting in April in a fight that is destined to be just as boring as this card (even though he'll probably make more money than all the fighters on 127 combined). Make sure to buy that PPV too, assuming you like boring fights.
That my friend , is a phenominal tirade , well done bro :good I stopped reading when you said UFC Fight Night BJ Penn , does not fight on UFC FN's :deal Granted its a weak card , but just recently these " weaker cards " have produced barn storming excitement , but i must say aside from the UFC FN comment , im with you , its weak ..................
Believe Bisping is not even a celebrity let alone a star. He is very ****ing far from being a superstar. No offence to him but if boxers like Froch arent widely known a fairly boring fighter like Bisping is never going to be close to superstardom. PS: Dan Hardy challenged at Welterweight
He sold out the Manchester Evening News Arena and O2 Arena, gives events he fights on a clear bump in ESPN viewing figures, and was the primary fighter behind the expansion into the UK. As much as any fighter other than Alex Reid (which is a Kimbo esque special case) is a superstar in the UK he is.
No doubt hes the biggest star for British MMA but go out into the street and ask around tell me how many people know who the **** he is.
Is that the clown married to that big titted slut who was once married to our own Peter Andre ?? atsch
Last year, the capacity Acer arena chanted "Bisping's a wanker" and went nuts for Wandy when he won. So this year we get Bisping back. Last year we had Cain Nog as the main - This year, my least favourite to watch fighter in the UFC vs a guy who would make a way more interesting fight with almost any other welter in the division. It smacks of being a bit like a spoiled brat, but I would have thought after the response to last years card that we might have had a title fight in any division or at least a more tantalising card. As such, I'm not going to this years because about 500 metres from the Acer arena is a metal/hardcore festival with Iron Maiden, Slayer, Primus, High On Fire, Melvins and a tonne more bands. The bands won my ticket, or I woulda gone to both. The card starts 11am local time, the PPV starts at 2pm in Australia to fit in with normal US broadcast times on a Saturday night - We are in the future here.
