By this reasoning a 147lb fighter from yesteryear wouldnt ba a 147lb fighter today and 15 round fighters couldnt fight twelve rounds. Maybe you should examine your reasons more closely. If fighters are bigger its not because of greater nutrition or traing tecniques. Its because they are given a day to rehydrate their bodies after boiling down. In other words the playing field is uneven and it has nothing to do with what you cited.

What about Lightweight and Light welter. Who dominates there?

All this talk about US boxing dying when they still have twice as many champions as any other country is a little premature.

Also how can the divisio with Pacquiao,Mayweather, Bradley and other be "one of the weakest divisions in boxing"?

No, its just in most divisions especially HW the US no longer dominate.
Plenty of great fighters in Europe and Asia and lower weight classes like Inoue.

Also way too much emphasis on PPV sales and too many champions and belts. The best not fighting the best. Bad judging/corruption.

Hero, you still haven't answered my question in another thread: If these modern fighters are so much better, why do they use techniques from old fighters? Floyd and Toney use the shoulder roll, Kovalev and Golovkin use shifting, and Hopkins was able to dominate men half his age using old school techniques.

And Welterweight is one of the weakest divisions? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Welterweight is an ocean of talent. You have Floyd, Manny, Bradley, Khan, Thurman, Brook, and Marquez.

Nobody dominates lightweight. It's a mixed bag of fighters but lets be honest, it's a weak division. As is light-welterweight. Once you get out of the top 5 or 6 fighters you reach bum city. Even before that actually where you hit bum city almost immediately after Danny Garcia.

That's three good fighters. Other than that, the division is very weak. I mean, Paulie is ranked #13 for **** sake. He's D-Level at best.

WW is ****. The fact you cited Khan as one of the best of the division is proof of that

My point was more about where the fighters were from as opposed to what individual dominates.

Vietnam could never beat a super power like America ever. In truth America as a whole just got tired of whipping your ass and you benefited from the social disarray going on in America at the time. Civil rights marches, Womens rights revolution, Hippies and the forget the old way movement, Peace marches, muslim marches, and the heavy weight champ Ali jailed , Martin King was shot along with Robert kennedy there was bedlum in the streets of america. When I was eight years old a tank and three platoons of soldiers were rolling into to my neighborhood to protect Gas storage tanks that were to be blown up by the black panthers. No you did not beat america Mr. Vietnam we just had a higher priority that did not include the continuation of kicking your AZZ!!

No way the industrial military complex that America is gets wiped out by anyone. At that time over 700,000 in uniform and just 50,000 in country was America wiped out really you think. And after japan you understand America has to be a little more humane in whipping ass. Again Mr. Vietnam benefited from that. Like I said WE just got tired of whipping AZZ!!

I served two and a half years in SE Asia during the Vietnam War and the reason we "lost" is because the American public rightfully had no appetite for that war. No one really "wins" in war and Vietnam is becoming a more capitalistic society daily so the communist can't really say they "won" the war either. True Hero appears to be a loser that is hanging on to supposed accomplishments of his grandfather to make him feel better about himself. The funny thing is that his grandfather probably doesn't harbor the same feelings against America as True Hero. He probably has moved on with his life as most of us have.

    Tell me.

Who won the Vietnam war? Simple answer.

North Vietnam or America? The answer of course is North Vietnam, which means you LOST. A bunch of peasants, farmers and fishermen kicked your ass.
