When one side says "We're not fighting him because he doesnt bring in enough money" Then what difference does it make whether Ward wanted to fight??

If one side makes it BLATANTLY obvious, that the fights not happening, then what do9es it matter what the other side does.

He cant force Froch into the ring with him can he?

How many times, in how many ways do Hearn and Froch have to publically say " Ward doesnt bring in enough money, we're not interested in fighting him" before you start thinking that maybe...just maybe they're not interested in fighting him?

Then last week Froch said the EXACT words, I had been saying all along.

I didnt realise anyone was talking about Quillin. Im not sure what he has to do with Ward and Froch.

Although yes he did walkk away from a fight for "business reasons". Whether that worls out or not remains to be seen.

It appears to have been a very bad choice, but Ive no idea what he may/may not have lined up.

But for exaample, I dont see how him not fighting GGG is any different from Frampton not fighting Rigo.

In both occasions, both fighters dont think the money is worth the risk

I would say its similiar to Ward-Froch, but at least Froch did fight Ward once, so not really the same.

 

we all have our favourites, and stb is no different. he has a prediliction for black americans, which i find odd given he definitely ain't the latter and probably ain't the former - i tend to support the local boy but enjoy fighters regardless of race and nationality.

he really allows his bias to cloud his judgement on this 1, though. it's obvious to just about everybody that froch's lack of interest in a rematch is down to ward's inactivity, whereas he appears to be claiming ward has been inactive because froch has had no interest in a rematch!

it speaks volumes on this subject that ward's fans have gone from saying "only froch and his fans want to see a rematch" to "froch wants no part of ward"!

I think one of the reasons people think today's fighters aren't as skilled as past fighters is because most of the great trainers are dead. Futch, Steward, Blackburn, and Dundee are all dead. And the remaining great trainers are old. Sure, Roach is one of the great trainers, but realistically, how much longer will it be until he has to give up training because of his Parkinson's? The poor guy's incoherent as it is.

 

The poster's who honestly feel that the current product is subpar should not waste their time watching. Simply view the sports that are responsible for the culling of talent like NFL and NBA at least according to our media's propaganda line.
