All the talented athletes are going to the NFL and NBA?

What proof is there that the skills required for basketball or football would translate well into boxing?

Basketball players are tall, have long reaches, and a lot of fast-twitch muscle fibers, but as we all know, it takes more than that to be good at boxing. There's no way to tell if basketball players can take a punch.

Football players can take hard blows. But getting tackled while wearing a helmet and protective gear isn't the same as getting punched in the face without headgear. Yes, football players are strong, but once again, it takes more than strength to be a good boxer. Strength doesn't translate into punching power.

There is no proof whatsoever. The media is just projecting according to their view of what makes an athlete and the presumption that running, jumping and lifting will directly translate to a combat sport.

If Wilder gets KO'd on Saturday, we can put that theory to rest.

How may guys on the Seahawks could KO Wlad if they started boxing young enough?

I will set the over under at 10 and let the Murican sports media run with it. Most of the boxing media would be under 10 but all the others would claim over. That is how pervasive this propaganda has become overhere.

    Hardly.

More like I grew tired of arguing with a re****. :rofl

I already owned you on the "kicked our ass" nonsense. 58,000 KIA to 1 million VC/NVA. :deal

I've already owned you on the "Americans have no stomach for a fight" (Hue, Dong Ha, "Nine Days in May".... have you ever even cracked open a book, assh*ole?

Really... what's left? You merely repeat the same blather no many how many times I demonstrate how stupid you are. Mental deficit, perhaps?

And if you wish to talk about surrendering, perhaps you should talk to your South Vietnamese compatriots, you know, the reason the US was over there in the first place (here's a hint: it's because your breathen refused to fight for their own country). :good

How wonderfully clever! You should have your own show with an intellect like that! And you even managed to do so without using your standard "Murican media/propaganda" boilerplate! :rofl (Because the 'Murican stuff is just soooo novel and witty). F'cking clown.

If I had the world's smallest piece of tinfoil, I'd make a hat with it for your head.

    B*TCH.

Funny that a guy who was seen in Japan by 10,000,000 on TBS can't get a t.v. audience...anyone know how many watched Frampton vs Martinez?

Did America complete its objectives in Vietnam? Yes or no?

If the answer is no then (and I'll use simple words so your tiny brain can comprehend it) YOU LOST THE WAR :lol::lol:

A bunch of farmers, fishermen and peasants daughters were enough to grind the American military machine to a halt. Numbers killed means **** all in a war if you don't achieve your objectives. :good

Did you think I was a decent guy before or after you created this alt? And why is everything nationalistic or about race with you? You can think whatever you want about me, you have no bearing on my life. You guys are simply for my entertainment. You on the other hand...these forums are your entire life. You actually feel some sense of importance being here! Rock on Joe! Rock on!

Naturally it seems, at least in the west, boxing has become somewhat of a niche sport, however in other parts of the world such as Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Cuba and so on, the sport is seemingly becoming more popular and thus we are getting more good fighters from those regions.

Did America achieve its strategic objectives in Vietnam? No, because your compatriots, the South Vietnamese, refused to fight for their own country....and when they did...they fought so poorly that the UNITED STATES had to bail them out.

But not meeting a strategic objective hardly equals getting "your ass kicked."

Surely even someone of your minimal intellect can understand that. Perhaps not, however. :rofl

But I'm glad to see you've shifted your rhetoric from "we kicked your ass" to "you didn't achieve your objectives." Of course, that tends to happen when even someone as inadequately equipped for higher reasoning as you can't get around the 10:1 KIA advantage the US racked up in Vietnam.

South Vietnam lost the war, not the United States. When the US withdrew, the South was still standing. North Vietnam conquered South Vietnam

The United States could neither win nor lose the Vietnam War. Ultimately, South Vietnam had to win the war and the corrupt, incompetent little b*s****s failed miserably, DESPITE the head-start (and hundreds of thousands of enemy killed) the US provided for them.

Farmers and peasants got killed by the US in the tens of thousands while serving in the....now say it again with me, dipsh*t... the well armed and trained North Vietnamese Army

The peasant daughters weren't doing anything but sucking and f*cking American d*ck. :rofl Vietnamese girls just couldn't get enough of it. Sucky sucky, bang bang :rofl
