All I have read so far on most sites is pacquiao is going to do this and pacquiao is going to do that.

If Pacquiao never beat Oscar first of all and then Hatton we would of probably laughed at the prospect of Pacquiao even fighting Cotto but now everybody seems to think that Cotto is a sitting duck for Pacquiao to just tee off on.

Cotto is not Ricky Hatton and Cotto is definitely a fighter who can take a shot.

He looked a bit slow against Clottey and I think this is a case of do not judge a fighter based off his last fight because if we used this logic then Margarito should of whooped Mosley's ass but he didn't, Mosley had it together and did a job on Margarito.

I believe that as soon as Pacquiao tastes Cotto's power he will think twice.

Hatton went in face first against Pacquiao and was asking to be knocked out. Oscar was a dead man in the ring and if Cotto is healthy come fight night he should win.

My prediction is Cotto to win the fight, this is not a fight that I can predict a knockout but I do see Cotto winning the fight.

There is still a question mark over Pacquiao as Im not convinced by those 2 previous fights. Pac has improved but he will resort back to his normal fighting style once he gets hit and hit hard over and over again. He will resort to fighting off instincts and whatever Roach has been teaching him will go out the window.

    May the best man win...

lets be honest here if Pacquiao and Cotto were the same size even Cotto's big-tittied wife knows Pacquiao would win. The only question is how is Pacquiao coping with the size increase and is he that much better than Cotto that he can overcome the strength gap? My answer is yes.

if Cotto wins then I definately underestimated him. It would mean that the gap in ability between himself and Pacquiao is not as big as I thought it was.

I think the idea of respect for Cotto as a world class fighter has been completely thrown out the window by the media, columnists, and fans.
Yeah there are definetely some people picking Cotto and I have read some good articles by credible columnists who pick Cotto to win.

But the people picking Pac are picking him by a total landslide!
Almost like Cotto does not even belong in the ring with such an elite fighter like Pac. Everyone talks about Pac-Mayweather already and this fight has not even happened. Pac has a concert planned right after the fight. Wow! Ultimate slap in the face for Cotto.

Pac and the world are expecting an easy win that will set up
"The Dream Match", and Pac to give an encore singing performance!
Maybe there all right, maybe Cotto is not that good? After all, what
has Cotto done, and who as he fought to deserve peoples respect as
a world class fighter? You know Cotto has been fueled beyond belief with motivation. A disrespected fighter. Reminds me of Trinidad vs, Hopkins.
Cotto is playing the role of Hopkins for the time being.

Will Cotto continue this role in the ring?
Tommorow night we will find out, and it can't come any sooner!

there's no doubt that many are sleeping on cotto. and I agree that there are still 'questions' that linger on how pac will manage against a legit solid WW in all aspects. imo, this is a 50/50 fight and I wasn't so damn bias id favor miguel more so..

with that said, pacquiao by brutal KTFO!

    Are people Underestimating Cotto?
Those who say Pac will KO Cotto in 3 are, those who say Pacquiao will KO Cotto in 1 are, those who are saying Pac will KO Cotto, are.

A lot of Pacquaio koolaid being served up..He barely beat Marquez and beat 3 really marginal opponents in his last 3. Cotto is just as good of a counter puncher as Marquez and way stronger physically

I am honestly not fully convinced of Pacquiao's durability at 135+. It wasn't tested against Diaz (Diaz aint a big puncher to begin with), Hatton, or De La Hoya. All we know from his last fight prior to the last three, when he fought Juan Manuel Marquez a second time, is that Marquez did have the power to hurt Pacquiao, which he did on a few occasions.

I would be surprised if Cotto wins. I think Pacman is a great fighter, but his people handpicked him. Cotto took a beating against Margarito which people seem to forget. It was pretty bad, and no fighter can be the same after that. But if Cotto won I would be happy. Either way I like both fighters.

If Cotto loses the fight he will claim that Pac has fixed wraps.
