We got a dead heavyweight division thats been killed by a lack of talent.

We got Mayweather and Pac our only true elites wont dare fight each other or anyone else.

    What else we got?

    not a lot!

This era of boxing blows man.

Each day is worse than than the last. 10 years from now the hw division will be even worse. The title will passed down from one guy to another more than a Tijuana hooker.

what era like dates you referring to?

    80's? 90's? 2000's?

2000's i'd say it certainly had its down but i dont think its that bad.

yes the Heavies are at a down in talent but there is plenty int he lower weights and they are more willing to move up in weight as well producing a lot of good matches.

Lack of talent is certainly not the problem... it's contenders not fighting between each other enough.

My Current Heavyweights H2H top 10:

    1. Wlad

    2. Vitali

    3. Haye

    4. Mitchell

    5. Chisora

    6. Huck (Although he might not return to Heavyweight, following his robbery loss to Povetkin.)

    7. Helenius

    8. Povetkin

    9. Chambers

    10. Fury

The first half of the '90s was awesome, so you'd better be exclusively referring to the second half.

We got a super elite ATG in Pac, ATG's in Floyd and JMM, Hops and Erik are ATG's and still fighting... SMW is on fire. It's not the best ever era, but it's not bad.

and even better than SMW, we have Featherweight, Lightweight, Junior Featherweight which are packed! Light Middleweight is just as good as Super middle.

and we just had a Boxing classic on Saturday :happy, no true Boxing fan would be complaining, may vs pac and the heavyweight division are just 5% of what make Boxing great, true Boxing fans appreciate the other 95%.

Not really. Some divisions may not be as good as they once were but there have been some good fights with young up and coming fighters over the past year or so. The Super Six forced the best fighters against each other and we are left with a definitive winner. Plus, the likes of Froch can be considered a bit of a throwback fighter - just look at his resume.

Even in the golden era we still missed the likes of Bowe not fighting Lewis or Tyson. Moorer also only fought Holyfield.

    Who's Maywether and packiao?

All I know is that the smaller divisions are absolutely packed with great fighters and potentional great fights. We have a Junior, Super, and Regular middleweight division that's also packed with exciting fighters and good match ups. We just saw the best Heavyweight fight in a long time a couple of weeks ago. We have upsets happening.

Boxing is not in a bad state. I'm loving it right now.

I don't know about worst, but the HW division is a stinker, and it's not the K Bros fault.
