These guys need to just hurry it up. I don't mind negotiations, they can be fun but it just gets so long. They spend so long thinking business that they do **** at business anyway.

I love the Sugar Rays, Alis, DLHs, Evanders that realise that continously fighting the best and giving your best, win or lose is what pulls the punters in. Even the smaller names who do so can earn a pretty penny.

this isn't a rebuilding fight. Its a major fight so he deserves to get a decent payday which he was not offered. If your only offered £20,000 when you will sell £150,000 worth of tickets without much difficulty is that acceptable? What do you think Murray who doesn't sell tickets especially in London, has faced nobody in his whole career is getting paid????

your brining up mortgage payments and not training when you have no clue what actually happened. I accept these fights are not happening and its **** but in the case of this and Groves vs DeGale its Frank Warrens fault for not offering decent money. If he paid people what there worth these fights would get made.

this stuff happens every week in boxing but it never comes out in the open. All the comments about retirement, paying mortgages were made by Warrens camp in an attempt to bully Kevin into taking the fight. every day people slag of Warren on this forum but the second someone stands up to him we get people like you calling him a *****?

If I went to Paul Smith and Darren Barker and offered them £100 each to fight eachother would there be pussies for not accepting it????

Mitchell wasn't costing Frank any money while he is not fighting. He has been injured thats why he hasn't had a fight.

Mitchell is aware that he is being fed to but he is very confident of winning. He just wants a decent payday he hasn't asked for the world.

The fight may be levels below Katsidis but it is still a major domestic fight and that will sell tickets and get tv viewers so both Murray and Mitchell deserve a decent sum.

Smith is coming of a humiliating loss to a guy with 8 fights? If he was offered £20,000 for the Barker fight which does 5000 tickets in Liverpool or London for the British & European. Would it fair to offer £20,000 when the fight would generate 10x that amount? Would Smith be a "*****" for not accepting it.

 

Your wrong. He hasn't fought in such a long time because he had an eye injury and wasn't medically cleared to box by the BBBofC. He has been ready since January but Warren hasn't put on any shows. He origonally had ones planned for March, April but now its put back to May. Not Mitchells fault.

How is he losing Frank money. Frank doesn't pay him a monthly wage.

Smith is in a simular situation to Mitchell. A ticket seller coming of a dominate loss but with options for big domestic fights.
