GGG has now confirmed that he won't move up to 168 and will stay at 160. So if he stays at 160 for the rest of his career and retires would y'all be happy with it?

Golovkin is done conning American boxing fans, he is now going to try to con the British boxing fans, starting with Brook. I can see him KO a line of regional british fighters for his last 3 years.

names only provoke excuses. Hell there is the whole middle weight division top ten he could have fought. then there would be 10 excuses. its obvious what the pimping pander is doing.

Golovkin has mercilessly crushed the hopes of all the whining detractors in this thread, turning 160 into his personal playpen.

With that out of the way, he's already pursued several 168 fights that never came to fruition, so his "staying" at 160 is academic. Besides, I want to see him break the record for MW defences :hey

Would be good then i can watch his fight at prime time

There are no americans left @160 beside Jacobs and
    he prefers to fight Mora.

There are no good americans @168 too at the moment

Can't wait for the whining and excuses of the haters if he has done that.

If he retires as the unified MW Champion, at that point he'll have closed in on the title defense record.

But for me, it'll ultimately depend on who at that point he's defeated.

Not anymore... Depsite his camp stating more than once that GGG is better suited for 168, they allowed Ward to move up without making a serious attempt to negotiate with them.

If some of the 154 pound fighters move up and face him, then I won't have a problem with him staying at 160.

When it's all said and done and he has no one of note on his resume he can only blame himself because he refused to move up and stayed in a dead division. He will probably end up being HOF because he will probably retire undefeated with the current crop of fighters at 160 but will never be a true ATG because he never dared to be great and his resume is horrible.
