Well if Canelo had decided after fighting the WW he chose, to then proclaim after that he wanted to fight Golovkin and ended doing so we won't be having this conversation. Lara is with Haymon, so that fight can not happen, not to mention Lara's team have never made Triple G an official offer. Calling some one out on twitter isn't one. Trout is also with Haymon and is garbage who just lost to Charlo, who wants to see that? I agree with that CW debacle, but that fight can not happen anymore so i've moved on. Brook is lucky to get in the ring with anyone wothwhile, he's in no position to demand anything especially when Golovkin is coming into his backyard.

I think GGG stays at 160 to break the record and then will move up. Unless the other too guys at 160 decide to step in the ring with him by then.

You're an absolute laughing stock who debates like a child.

Everybody who supports GG is classed as a stan/fan boy by you.

You are completely incapable of having an objective debate, and you should be banned for spamming up the forum with your biased horse manure.

When Canelo won the belt it was great.

He was the lineal MW champ and he was very proud.

It was an honour and an achievement.

When he had to defend it, it suddenly became completely worthless and was rightfully trashed.

    :patsch

Imagine for a moment that Andre won the lineal LHW belt and Sergey was his mandatory. Then after inviting him in the ring and talking big, he dropped the belt to go and fight the WBO champ at his previous weight.

How would that sit with you?

Why would he move up at this point?

    To fight who?

I want him to move up. But only if he definitely can't get Saunders, Jacobs and Canelo, and if fights against guys like Ramirez and DeGale are viable.

Why are you still kidding yourself into believing that fights against Ward and Canelo were available at 168 and 155?

    :deal

    Biggest joke on the forum.

If GG had behaved in the same manner as Canelo, he'd have needed to have doubled up on his MEDS.

I think we all want to see him in good fights.

Regarding the 155 for Canelo, he was right to stand his ground and not be dictated to. You can't have a guy moving into a division and then forcing the other established champs to defend their belts at CW's. And anybody who supports that by saying things such as: "Yeah, but he said he'd fight anyone from 154-168" is an absolute idiot. Because you have to put his comments into context and allow for the huge difference in circumstances between potentially fighting a huge fight against Floyd at 154, and being held to ransom by the lineal MW holder who weighs in as LHW on fight night. The other thing to consider here, is Oscar De La Hoya. Oscar is an astute businessman. Canelo is his 'Golden Egg' and he doesn't want the fight yet. Anyone who believes that that fight could have happened if GG had agreed straight away to fight him at 155, is kidding themselves. Agreeing to 155 wouldn't have got it done.

Regarding Ward, that fight was never really viable. I've discussed this many times.

Regarding Lara, we don't know if he genuinely wants that fight. Personally, I'd like to see it. But he's a Showtime fighter who hasn't moved up to MW yet.

I'm not sure why you've mentioned Wade as he was just a mandatory whilst he was waiting for Canelo to face Khan.

Like yourself, I also want GG to take a leap and move up. But not until he's either fought the likes of BJS, Canelo, Jacobs and Eubank etc, or it becomes crystal clear that he can't get them. But at this specific moment in time, there's still some hope that those fights get made, and there's nothing available for him at SMW.

I'm certain he will step up. But he can't fight anyone right now at SMW.

    They are all tied up.

A fight against David Lemieux gave him the opportunity to fight for the IBF belt.

He's not going to go out of his way to fight a Showtime JMW who brings no title, no money, and who's already being beaten by Canelo. Having said that, I would like to see the fight.

I think it's great that Golovkin has decided to hide out in the 160 division where it's nice and quiet with no major interruptions.
Thank God there is no real talent at 160, else this decision would be closed to Golovkin.

Again, a Canelo fight was never going to happen regardless of the weight.

Lara is a Showtime JMW who brings nothing to the table.
