    :p Bitter... bitter... bitter !

:hey It's really tuff being a CANELO TROLL !!!

 Nothing but excuses... a third class attempt to "cover up" Canelo's surrendering the belt.

it only became worthless when cotto and canelo finagled their way into it's possession... and canelo still agreed to pay 6 figures to defend the worthless strap. at least cotto told them to kiss his azz.
now that ggg is representing it, its the most valuable crown in middleweight division.

Little g says there are no big fights at 168, so that implies that he believes there are big fights for him at 160.
Golovkin has eyed the British market for some time now, especially after watching Froch retire a rich man after Froch-Grove.
Golovkin desperately wants that kind of retirement pay check too.

He weakly pursued a Mayweather match up at 154, but Mayweather wasn't biting.
This is K2's strategy with the Brook fight. To gain UK exposure for Golovkin and boost future interest in Saunders, Eubank and other potential large draw UK fights.

That makes sense because there is no real big fight for Golovkin in the US.

It is a bit disappointing. I have been following him since the Universal days and after he was getting d*cked around there I was hoping he would grab a title and move up because I thought no one would fight him at MW. I was disappointed when he was ok with taking step aside money also. I feel that if he had better management he would of been much bigger and had the money to pay for bigger fights. Hopefully he sticks around long enough to break and set a new defense record while fighting the next era of up and comers. He seems to be already positioning himself to go after the WBO title and hopefully he gets it before Canelo.

    It's a bit disappointing, but I can't blame him. He's a true MW.

If he kept going up in weight, of course it'd be a bigger challenge, and that would be interesting. However, if it were just about facing the biggest challenge, then he should just move to heavyweight.

But that would be silly. He should just fight at the correct division for his size, and his size is MW. If he moved to SMW, he would be small.

His choice. But, if every fighter thought like GGG, we wouldn't have very many legendary fights or fighters to reminisce about.

If Pacquiao can move up 8 divisions and Mayweather can move up 5, I don't want to hear any excuses about GGG moving up 1 focking division or down 5 pounds. There is simply no excuse.

Paul Williams, when he was active, was the most feared fighter from 147-160, for awhile. But, the guy was willing to weigh in anywhere from 147 to 160 just to get someone in the ring with him. GGG wants anyone from 147 to 168 to come to160 to fight him. Big difference in the heart category.

I am just happy they fight for us. I care about best fights being made but I don't really lose sleep over their perceived greatness. GGG gives me what I want : an undisputed champ in his respective class. I dont consider jumping weight classes a prerequisite for his greatness, since GGG does not cut weight before weight ins and was an astounding 165 lbs 30 days before the fight. So many people going up in weight are doing it because they started young and were not in their natural division, but GGG clearly is. Floyd started at 130 but he is clearly not a 130 lb fighter. Pac started at what, 108? He is clearly not a 108 fighter , he was young, his body was still forming and as he grew older, he moved to the next natural weight.

My problem with posters isn't that they supposedly care about Genady's resume, they don't really give a ****. They simply want to stack the deck against a small MW to give his opponents an advantage. Same reason why people wanted Floyd to fight at 154. They know GGG is untouchable at 160 and Floyd was untouchable at 147.

Some people may want to see him lose. But, a lot of people just want to see how good he really is...if the hype is warranted. And the only way that is going to happen is if he fights someone better than David focking Lemieux. And I don't mean dragging WWs up 2 divisions.

Sorry but, the guy's resume is sh!t...undisputed or not. It probably wouldn't take but a couple of significant fights to turn that around. But, any fight against a legit threat seems to fall through, and he makes 0 concessions. That's not how great fights or great fighters are made.

He may eventually surpass Hopkins' defense record. But, Hopkins didn't just settle for that. It more so marked the beginning of a remarkable career. He wanted to be great...and he did. But, not by sitting around waiting for it at MW.

If his chin is so good and his power is so impressive and also one of the best amateur resumes of all time and competed at higher weight class already at amateurs what are you afraid of GG fanboys ?

Why not step up 168 and beat everyone in this currently also very weak division, like 160 is.

Whats the problem here ? I dont see any.I want him to move up and K.O everyone at 168 then K.O everyone at 175 if hes such a superhuman being, lets see it in action then...should be fun,no ?

Or...he wants all 160 belts when everyone is ducking him bla bla ...wants 100 title defenses at 160 ,to be best 160 fighter ever, seriously ? Thats boring.Take some risks and move up.

Not at all. There are no big fights for him there. He'll likely wait 2 more years for Canelo to "grow" into Middleweight and by that time GGG will be a faded fighter. At 168 he could take on more willing and proven opposition. But he apparently has little interest in that.
