yes...... potential to be p4p top 5 if he improves his fundamentals, starts thinking in rthe ring more and irons out those mistakes.

the one fighter ive followed through out my boxing life. saw his first TV appearance. a pre Olympic interview with hatton and mcguiggen. seemed like a positive likeable guy if a little dim. i can honestly say if i had to pick one guy to become p4p champ it would be khan. he's exciting to watch, a decent person and doesn't avoid potential danger fights.

yeah it bothers me how decent it is. especially when the hardest hitter in the division twated it 5 times in the 10th round and amir stayed on his feet. what an annoying chin!

A resounding NO, Romania. One of my least favourite boxers at present.
    Reasons:
    1. thinks he's better than he is
    2. arrogant
    3. seems to have low ring IQ
    4. parents
    5. again parents

For some reason I'd like to see Zab beat him. And that's from someone who used to really dislike Judah. Australia.

    Yes - Wales.

I was a fan when he first came on the scene but his arrogance got the better of him. Sticking him on PPV when he fought Prescott was a joke and I was glad to see him chinned. However, he's rededicated himself and his fight with Maidana really won me over. I hope he wrecks Judah and goes on to unify and headline some huge cards. He's good to watch, quick and carries some power.

i respect him but not a fan because i dont like his fighting style nor his personality, his trash talk doesnt really bother me, he's just not a natural trash talker, he's a little dumb like judah, he has heart though and skills and will watch him fight when/if he does.

Initially, no, but I've warmed to him in the last year or so. He runs his mouth off a bit, but not as much as some. I think he has a pretty good work ethic, is always keen to get fights made and tends to just knuckle down and get on with the job. I'll say yes then.

Apart from the third one how the **** are these even valid reasons to hate a fighter?, I swear some of you people are just grasping at straws. Also the top two are basically the same thing.

Yes, I'm a supporter, and I'm from the UK.

He's an exceptional talent with big vulnerabilities. Which basically means, his fights will always have you on the edge of your seat because anything at any moment can happen. Outside of the elites - Mayweathers and Pacquiaos - his fights seem to get boxing fans talking more than anyone else. Part of that could be due to Laz's build-up threads (lol), but there's no denying he's exciting and good for the sport. He's also showed great heart and mentality in bouncing back from adversity.

So, just a quick recap, I've read through this thread and the main reasons for disliking him are:

    • He has confidence in himself.
    • He apparently believes he's on the same level as Pac and May.
    • He's not intelligent.
    • He repeats words in interviews.
The second point, by the way, isn't true. He's repeatedly said he'd like to fight Mayweather sometime in the future - when he's matured and Mayweather may have slowed down a bit. This is a complete contrast to the much loved Timothy Bradley - who Khan is more or less on the same level with - challenging Manny Pacquiao to "break down this wall". So it's cool for Bradley to say that, but not cool for Khan to say he'd like to fight Mayweather next year? Oh, and not to mention, Mayweather is about to face a "young hungry lion that's a very dangerous opponent" who happens to also be on the same level as Khan. It's ok for him to be a Mayweather opponent, but Khan should shut the f*ck up and not mention Mayweather's name?
