Im not, He pissed me off when he was showboating vs roy and when he tried to dry**** bhop ( dont know if thats the right translation in English, maybe dryhumping? but you know what I mean) I respecct his skills and think he was very good but he is a hometown boxer who would have lost vs hopkins and roy in their prime and his fans are annoying as well since they act like he is some atg rather than a solid hof champion with good skills.
yes, but am aware of his many weaknesses, am not a nuthugger. Women got to recognise him too after the Lacy figth because hes not a bad looker. Probably more of a follower these days, I remember his fights were a major spectacle at university digs, but I lost a lot of respect for him after his cowardly showboating with a shot Roy pretty poor when he had hid in Wales for the 8 years previous to his fighting two oldies in America. Hatton got a lot more respect in uni, tbh, because he faced the best.
His style for the most part was too ugly for my preference. I did kind of like the schooling and beatdown of Lacy though.
pity we are talking about showboating against shot old fighters, and not showboating in general, which EVERYONE one this forum loves. Unless you are explicitly stating that you find it hilarious to showboat in front of a crippled Ali and shot2**** Jonees - you have a right to an opinion, of course. edit - oh look, I have an extra letter 'e' in 'Jonees'. Goodness, I must know nothing about boxing.
Not a fan. However, I Respected his regenerative abilities (probably one of the best I've ever seen) after being buzzed or KD'd. Respected his desire to win. His style was ugly but got the job done. His work rate was sickening like Ray Olivera. Tell you one thing tho, After I saw the Lacy beat down, I told myself I would never bet against him to lose, against anyone, ever again.
