Are you comfortable with Ali beating up smaller, aging men like Archie Moore and Floyd Patterson?

Mayweather was older and more past prime than Manny “Scared of Needles” Pacquiao. Marquez weighed 150 in ring for the third Pac fight and became 147 champ after fighting Floyd.

I definitely do not know what you’re talking about.

    Exactly.

I'm not uncomfortable with Ali trying his hardest in boxing matches with Moore and Patterson.

Nor am I uncomfortable with Berbick trying his hardest in a boxing match vs Ali.

    It's crazy to think otherwise.

I'd have rather Ali didn't come out of retirement, but there are far bigger mismatches round the world every weekend than the 3 x fights cited in the OP.

So you admit that you're just being an ******* rather than adding to the conversation... For someone who seems to think he's smarter than everyone else, you sure are stupid.

This new guy is a pest. He's earned entry to my ignore list, something I haven't done for literally years.

I hear that. At least with other posters that I don't agree with, they typically aren't this unintelligent. Master is twice my age and he couldn't respond with anything more than, "Your point?", or, "No u", lol.

When an aging or declining fighter gets beaten by a younger and healthier one it’s because the former CHOSE to take the fight. All too often we paint the victor as a villain when all he’s doing is his job. I don’t blame Berbick for beating Ali and nor do I blame Ali for beating Moore or anyone else who was ever in that same situation. When an athlete has reached a point where he or she can’t perform anymore then the sensible thing to do is retire….
