That's a fair point. I think his corner tried to make him force the issue doubtless fearing the judging but although he won the second fight, he didn't put it so far beyond doubt that they couldn't get away with cooking the books.
Canelo won the fight based on opinions, boxing is a subjective sport. Did Chavez win against Whitaker? If you say that's a fact and don't say it's a robbery I might take your opinion on this seriously.

Are you referring to the majority of boxing fans who hate dislike DLH/Canelo prior to the fight? Yes, they would certainly render a fair and impartial scoring of the fight (the 5% who actually understand the nuances of the 10 pt must system and the 4 components of scoring a round). Yes, the press who rips him for cheating (I personally don’t like the tainted meat and failed testing, and am not a fan and am not defending him or his actions!), I am sure they will likewise be fair and impartial (not to mention I question their fight scoring competency as much as fans in general!), in rendering their verdict and rbr scoring? As someone who is not a fan of either guy, but an appreciator of both, at least in the ring. Outside of the ring I don’t care for Canelo’s PED issues, but that has little to do with the fights. I scored a draw in the first and Canelo 115-113 in the 2nd. I loved both fights, and hate discussing it with the irrational fanboys on either side of the verdict. Both guys are great and gave admirable performances. The thing that detracts from the fight is not the judges but rather the media and fanboys/haters who in many cases are one and the same! I am hopeful of a 3rd fight because I don’t feel like anything is settled. But apart from a JMM vs Pac IV ending, the skill level of both guys is so close that a convincing win is not the most likely scenario and will only lead to larger controversy and idiocy among fanboys and haters.

Judges over all in Boxing are very Disappointing...the First fight was up there with some of the worst...I do concede the second fight was closer...corruption is Rampant in Boxing not just from Golovkin v Canelo...if you are satisfied with that I can live with it...but me as a Boxing Purist I hate it.!!!
ur dissapointed in ggg? lol like he cares. ggg is doing ggg. ggg did what he had to do. he won them fights. however he knew he was gonna get screwed on the cards. an it was gonna be tough fighting a protected canelo. because oscar takes care of his baby canelo . but he knew he was gonna make alot of money in the process. he coulda went an fought some good fighters but not make the cash he made vs canelo. when its all said n done we all know what happened when ggg and canelo met. ggg won them fights im not biased. i like canelo, i really like him great fighter. the tainted meat is a major turn off though. but hes skilled as can be. very sound in all areas.
