    He did beat Audley tho.

Ah, actually, I think it may have been Dokiwari who had the impressive physique.

I remember that Audley-Guinn was one of the worst fights ever!

Nice profile picture I met her 5 years ago and had brief conversation with her. NY legend. Saw her 3x in concert.

Not looking forward to anything it’s gonna be a repeat of the klitschko era without the klitschko level fighter to clean up.

I don't think his boxrec amateur record is complete, pretty sure he probably had a lot more than that but regardless I think he turned over too early aswell, the allure of the pro money, chasing tysons record and knowing he'd not get a look in for the Olympics factor in to it. What is clear is that he achieved as much as you can do a youth/junior level, seniors is a different game but it does show huge potential.

Curious to see how Joshua Edwards does in the upcoming Olympics.

Not expecting him to win anything. But it would be nice if he made it through the preliminary rounds. Needs a good bracket.

Could be a good pro. (Too early to tell.)

Well saying i am excited by the next generation of heavies would be rather overstating things, but yes looking forward to seeing how they develop as fighters.

Just hope there is less trash talk, and look at me look at me behaviour and more actual fighting within the squared circle.

One thing i would hope, but know will not happen is that the Heavyweight title is not riddled with these rematch clauses, as it ties the titles up.

The bouts of these new heavies will be the next episode of boxing history, so don't be reflecting on previous eras and comparing, that was then, this will be now.

Bear in mind that Dubois is younger than 6/12 mentioned here... And way more proven at the weight than any of them.

As far as the prospects for the next generation go, Dubois is looking likely to dominate given how much more proven and willing to fight regularly than the rest.

We are probably due for a lull tbh. Hope for the best- we need proactive matchmaking, keen pool of fighters, plenty of opportunitie$ for talent to rise to the top. I'm looking forward to Paris Olympic boxing possibly find a few new prospects in there
