Exactly. We all started out not knowing everything about the sports; most of us started following one or two fighters, progressing towards liking more and more fighters...!!!

 

The difference is when we started we didnt make a million threads about 2 overrated fighters. I started watching boxing in the early 2000's because my dad loved it, when the Lewis and Tyson fight got made I didn't suddenly pretend to be an expert on every forum because of the hype, and I didn't stop caring about boxing after this fight. Buffy is the type of fan that won't give 2 ****s about boxing after this fight, watch her prove me right when she's nowhere to be seen after this fight.

Some of us are older ( I was boxing in the ams in 1991-1993) and have been a pro trainer / cutman since 1997. There was no internet back in my youth, and most young adults now-a-days go to the extreme when they find something new they like...!!!

I wont bash or label Abuffy as a newb of the sports, she's cool in my book and if she stays being a fan, it's just another person in the boxing fan fraternity/sorority...!!!

Ok let's say, you saw a noobie kid in his ten's(like buffy is), that came on an internet forum in 2002 and started raving about Tyson/Lewis bombarding the forum with millions of threads, and claiming to be an expert ****yst. Would you have welcomed me, or be annoyed? IDK, I've always been annoyed by bandwagoners in general, I remember in 2010 when suddenly everyone was a Miami heat fan, or back in the early 2000's how everyone was riding chelsea.

I would welcome you, may not agree with you and/or read all your threads (Like I don't read 90% of Boxing_master's threads). Everyone is entitled to their own level of fandom.

FFS, I promote the hell out of my boy KINGPIN and most on here hate him and his terrible style, but he's my boy so I'm going to promote and support him; love me or hate me, I don't care.

That's what's wrong with our society in general, we want to shelter people from doing what they love, we want to ridicule and bash them for not conforming to what we see fit.

I try to be cool with everyone, regardless of their level of stupidity, fandom, trolling, etc.

Let Abuffy be a fan, just like you're a fan.
