Bittersweet because I'm gonna miss his skill inside the ring, glad because the fighters in his division would actually gun for each other now instead of dropping stubs in the Mayweather sweepstakes.
Yes I'm glad nothing left to prove. Berto gave pbf a harder fight than #48 and landed more punches to.
A great champion doesn't go out and not fight the best fighter out there. He will have his place but between peds and the pacman fiasco it will be an open book and ruin his status as the p4p best ever...The one mark on Lewis is he ran from vitali and was not winning that fight prior to the cut.Guys like Tyson and Ali were run into the ground until they couldn't fight anymore,a true champion goes out with the biggest bang if he has the opportunity, and he does he can pick a handful of guys...hats off to Floyd but if it was me I would have picked the toughest guy possible to seal the deal..who that is?well somebody could probably answer that better than me...but I would have done pacman rematch!
Good riddance. Before Floyd boxing as a sport was great and had less bitter fans. It was less of a niche sport. Fans had more get togethers and parties to watch fights. Looking forward to a more exciting (familiar) era in boxing.
I'm 50/50. I'll miss Floyd fighting the fights that I want to see But, that's only like 10% of the time so
All of you watched the fight. I don't think that he will retire, but if he does...last night could've been worse. We could've been asking this question about a Khan or Pac lol.
