Why you not give him credit? I dont understand some of you 'fans', he's taking on the last man to beat him like the old skool, its not like there was a better fight to be had at this present moment. What a moronic poll

Depends on how it's done. If he displays improved technique, and composure during thos times when Brewster connects (and I think Brewster will connect with something pretty substantial at some point in the fight), then I'll be happy to give him credit. If he doesn't...then that will be noted, even if he wins.

I'll give him credit whether he wins or loses and everyone should anyway. Many people talked smack about Wladimir not avenging a loss and now he's doing so, whether he avenges it or not he deserves credit for making this fight happen even though he's the champion right now. Not to forget that he's making yet another exciting event, can't hate someone who's great for boxing.

Of course I'll give him credit. It will be a good win. I'm picking Wladimir to win. I dont know how much Lamon has left after such a long layoff and a pretty bad injury.

Even then, in the first fight Lamon was getting a good beating. Wlad will probably stop him but I'll be rooting for Brewster.

I don't understand the logic behind not crediting a win over a good opponent. If this was Klitschko vs. Rick Dyer or whatever that lazy **** is called, sure, but Brewster is tough and has a very good punch. He's not a bum for ****s sake.

Wlad deserves credit for winning, if he does so, today. The question is how much credit should come his way? Brewster is still a top 10 heavyweight, has the style to give Wlad fits, and most importantly- has a t.k.o win over Wlad already. If Wlad gets revenge over a man with those credentials than that should be recognized.

The big question is what does Brewster bring to the fight at this point in his career. The layoff isn't the big issue. 15 months off was what Brewster's body probably needed and its about the same layoff he was coming off of when he beat Wlad previously. For me the layoff is a minor issue. The amount of credit due to Wlad depends on what Brewster has left and how Wlad looks. Those questions could be answered after the fight while the question of what Brewster has left may be answered or we might need to see how Brewster does in his subsequent outings. I'm prepared to give Wlad credit for one of the biggest, if not the biggest, wins of his career. I also think some of that credit can be removed depending on Brewster and the way the fight goes. This could all be moot, however, if Wlad gets beat again.

He'll certainly get some credit from me; how much depends on (a) how he wins, (b) how Brewster fights and (c) if there's a bogus stoppage or something like that.

He'll definitely get credit. But he has more to lose than to gain from this fight, no doubt. He must win.

Because he will be defeating a fighter who previously defeated him. That's about the only reason.

Brewster made a name for himself defeating Wladimir. He would not be known by many had he just been going on his previous record. He has looked iffy as a contender(I didn't regard him as champ) since their fight. He probably should have lost to Kali Meehan, but he sure blasted the hell out of Golata following that fight.

If Klitschko wins, then I'll consider it a good one. Then he should dump that belt of his if they try to make him fight who I've heard to be his mandatory. The organization in my profile has it right about these stupid belts, and organizations. Boxing doesn't need them. It just needs us, as fans, to support who we feel is champion. We should just ignore these organizations all together. The more we stop respecting them, and the more we stop referring to one of their belt holders as champion, the quicker they will go away.

Well if your argument is that he is fighting somebody that beat him, you have to look at the whole scenario. If the fighter has not been active in 2 years plus and you went on to be a champion fighting regularly...I mean ..he gets credit for a win. But no more than that..no extra..at all:good :good :good :good :good

His stock stays the same (assuming he wins) unless he absolutely demolishes Brewster in which case it rises slightly.
