Like Mijares was supposed to completely destroy Darchinyan right?

 

Arce has a great chance to beat Darcman. Mijares fought Arce when Arce was still getting used to the weight. Styles make fights. I'm picking Darcman by ko, but I realize Arce likes to fight guys who slug, and Darcman is a slugger. This is still a good fight to see. Forget the Mijares fight, Arce will show up fight night as will Darcman.

It's not like people are ignoring the fight. This was discussed a few days ago.

 

Arce will get creamed. He may like those who come to fight, but the same is undoubtedly true of Darchinyan as it makes it a whole lot easier to get off his power shots, and Arce is far from a defensive master. Darchinyan by KO within 6.

 

Arce has a tremendous chin though (and while Vic has P4P power), I don't think he'll crack Arce. I expect it'll go the distance unless Arce KOs Vic.

This isnt a 50-50 fight but definately an exciting one!

Arce wont fall over straight away, expect a good 4 or 5 round of quality action before he gets sparked.

Its interesting how quickly he got his first defence scheduled, we havnt even got out of November yet. Less politics in the lighter weight classes maybe...?

Montiel is a better match, but due to the quickness of the 1st defence and the exciting nature of the challenger I think Vic should be commended.
