I disagree, I think footwork is one of Hatton's strengths. He's not flat-footed and old like De La Hoya, so Floyd wont be able to move out of range as easily as he's used to.

He cant fire off shots as fast as mayweather, I'll give you that, but Mayweather doesn't throw as many punches or as hard as Hatton, which makes things more even if you ask me.

"What type of fighter is Ricky Hatton? The same type of fighter thats gonna get what the rest of them muther****ers got"

Says it all right there. You can already see who has the edge, Fatton is obsessed with dissing Floyd, Floyds camp barely pays him any attention.

    Floyd by 10th round TKO.

It wouldn't be as much of a upset if DLH would have won.

I said it would look like DLH/Vargas but I think it'll be even closer than that since Ricky isn't as predictable. He can definently win a decision but I think his thin skin will come into play.

You've predicted that Floyd will lose about a half dozen times Orishaman. How's that working out for ya?

    (only kidding :D)

I HIGHLY doubt this becomes an upset...

Why? Hatton leaves himself too open and too squared up when coming inside. Too often, he will lead with a left hook or a right hand and Mayweather has the hand speed to capitalize off of this. Expect Mayweather to catch him on the way in with short, sharp punches.

Also, Hatton doesn't work his way inside behind a hard jab enough. To beat Mayweather, not only do you have to get inside, but you have to get inside effectively meaning behind the jab and with enough head movement/defense. I feel Hatton's defensive liabilities will be a big issue.

    Mayweather UD

Dude...I said tht if Joe Cortez give Ricky any latitutde to rough house PBF he will be able to put pressure to PBF and get inside I also mentioned that if PBF hurts his hand it will be very hard for him....

Ricky's key to win is no big secret dude...get inside rough house PBF manhandle as much as he can, hit the rib cages constatly, don;t let him breed....this will be a tall older for the slower Hatton...regardless I am going with Hatton...PBF has no character as a human being...

Ah, an interesting strategy. That explains why he threw such a violent haymaker to Tszyu's balls!

This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. What does this have to do with who's going to win on Saturday? Nothing, nothing at all. I re-read your post, and basically your gameplan for Hatton is to hope that the ref let's him get rough on the inside, and hope the Floyd gets hurt. This is what you're predicting your upset on? I sincerely hope you don't bet money on fights using this type of logic

Well chump....if you do't know the importance of a Ref on a fight, then ask Tszyu if it didn;t or not...the strategy I pointed our was Hattons strategy for Tszyu ...Tszyu was exhausted he couldn;t continue... so it work, as I said Vann alloweed Ricky to do his thing...it work ...now PBF have fragile hands and even thought it has not been a case in the last 5 or 6 fights...it is a fact that once you ahve a hairline crack it is always there ready to reapear any time....and the fact that I choose the fighter with far more character and family values is my choice.......

Mayweahter is not 36 year old man coming off numerous injuries and long layoff. The strategy that worked on Tszyu won't neccessarily work on a younger, faster, better conditioned, and better overall fighter. As far as Floyd's hands go, he's had bad hands his entire career, it's never stopped him from winning. As far as Hatton's character and family values, you don't know jack **** about this man. Back in the 80's and early 90's everyone thought O.J Simpson had high character and good family values, we all saw how that **** turned out. Look, if you want to pick someone to win because you think they're a better person(even though you don't even know them) that's youir perogitive. I just wouldn't bet any money on a fighter based on it.
