This is how i see it going for him.

vs - Lenroy Thomas (Commonwealth Championship)

vs - Sam Sexton (Sexton will be coming off the back of a loss too Hughie Fury who will vacate the belt so he doesnt have to fight Joyce. Sexton will step up and take the fight. This fight will be for the British and Commonwealth Titles.)

vs - Agit Kabayel (European Championship) Kabayel will take this fight for sure. He will be 18-0 at the time i imagine and it would certainly be a statement if Joyce destroys him. I dont see him sticking around European Level for too long after either.

vs vs Christian Hammer (I imagine Joyce has vacated the belt now and is pushing for a 2nd win against a Top 10 ranked opponent. Hammer is reasonable to negotiate with and i think its a fairly straight forward victory for Joyce.

vs Derek Chisora (Joyce will be ranked roughly around 8/9/10 in a few governing bodies now and will have a decent little hype going around him on the UK scene, Chisora will be looking for that last payday and i could defiantly see this playing chief support on a big show in the UK, maybe even Eddie Hearn would be interested in putting this one on a AJ card.

vs Nathan Gorman (With Joyce flying high with confidence and the hype train in full swing, a fellow Brit will most likely also be undefeated at that time and probably holding the European title looking to break onto the World Scene. Depending how good Gorman looks against decent opposition, this could certainly be a good fight.

vs Dominic Breazeale (currently standing at 9-0, i see Joyce looking to fight eliminators now. Breazeale doesnt duck a challenge and will most likely of failed with two previous attempts at winning the World Title against AJ & Wilder so he will certainly want a fight that puts him into contention. I see Joyce outworking Breazeale to a UD. With Breazeale most likely Top 5 in all governing Bodies, this win certainly puts Joyce in the mix.

Now 10-0, Ranked Top 5, would he be ready for either Wilder, Joshua, or whoever is holding all the belts at this time.

Would you be impressed with Joe Joyce if hes Top 5 Ranked by his 10th fight? all of these fights could most easily of happened by 2020, or even late 2019. All of the people are easy to negotiate with.

Yep, that would be really cool. I'm not sure this will pan out as stated but I would be pretty impressed with that

I would be impressed if the was ranked in the top 10 with only 10 fights under his belt.
I think your imagination is getting the better of you.

I'd be impressed for sure...Unfortunately, after facing tough jorneyman in 1st fight, Joyce then beat two helpless punching bags and I'm not sure his future opponents in 1st 10 fights would be as good as you suppose

I get what you guys are saying but i think Sexton, Kabayel are certainly going to happen in the first 10 fights for sure, them two names alone for a less that 10 fight novice would be very impressive.

Well, the Brits are amazing fans, so if its a good fight: the money will be there!
All it takes is one good win and Joyce is the next big star.

And so it starts.....The Joyce train.

Sure, he's a good strong prospect. He's got the size for the modern HW scene, the amateur pedigree, a great trainer, marketable good looks, a depth of HW knowledge to tap from Haye etc etc etc It all looks very good. But because of all the above everyone including Joyce himself, Haye and the expectant British scene want to push him on maybe too quickly, especially in a UK boxing scene that is very high on HWs at the moment.

There is a rigidness to his frame. A slightly lumbering, telegraphic turn to his punches, he doesn't have great speed and is pretty easy to hit, remember he's been KOed a couple of time at a decent level in the amateurs. In general he's a bit stiff and robotic. Maybe Salas will gradually work this out of him, but I tend to think big men as they get older and start to fill out their big frames decrease in flexibility and agility. Even though he can do that kinda capoeria type spin, yes impressive for a big man, he isn't the same kind of nimble natural athlete say a Wilder is.

Give him time, let him gradually be tested in all the essential areas and maybe we'll have something for the future.

He's too old to move along slowly.
He's in his physical prime right now. He's 32 already.

Let's see how good he looks in his next fight. His last two opponents have been hopeless. Yes, he should beat Lenroy Thomas comfortably but that's not saying much.

That is a good point about his age, I didn’t think about that.

I see him moving faster than that tbh. He just needs the financial backing and idk if he’s a big enough draw to warrant that financial backing.. so he’s a bit stuck

He fought Lewison on his debut and did better against him than a 18-1 Dillian ''Donkey Don't Desire That Drudgery'' Whyte did and then they tried to get Del Boy to man up and take the Joyce Challenge, offering him very good coin, and Joyce ended up fighting a couple of scrubs after Del Boy said no thanks me don't want no part of that. And now Joyce who is just 3-0 is facing 22-4-1 Lenroy Thomas.

Errr not so much impressed but happy because I believe a lot more fighters with his level of experience should be moved along quicker anyway.

He isn't a baby so he needs to move at a good pace.
