How impressed are you with Haney beating Prograis and Norman Jr to take their titles at his first weight class moving up, especially when he dropped them early as well? Haney gets a lot of hate and he’s still a real chore to watch when he fights but I must admit I think it’s rather impressive that he’s managed to keep proving his doubters wrong time after time. People doubted Haney’s ability to beat Prograis because many thought he should have lost to Lomachenko and he ended up schooling him. Same thing happened going in to the Norman Jr fight where most believe the Ryan Garcia fight damaged him for good but ended up neutralizing Norman Jr.

Haney is a frustratingly boring fighter to watch but you can’t deny that he’s very gifted and skilled fighter who always finds a way to win and is also willing to fight anyone.

Nothing Haney does impresses me. He's a super negative spoiler and a coward. He's a blight on the sport.

His win over prograis was a good performance over a fading but still capable champion Prograis. The Norman win I was *almost* impressed by, but after the knockdown he basically stopped trying to decisively win rounds. Despite dropping and hurting Norman and being evidently a better fighter and never really looking uncomfortable against him, he still seemed to have no real confidence in his offense. So although it's still a good win (this fight was seen as a 50/50 going into it, with Norman being favoured by many) I can't say I left the fight being particularly impressed with him.
