His offence is great to watch; plenty of variety, fast hands, and good pop from either hand. As others have noted he does like to stay in the pocket a little too long, and he gets caught with shots you wouldn't necessarily expect an elite fighter to take. This could possibly be down to complacency given his level of opposition.

The weakness's were quite clear yesterday (only in the context of elite fighters), his lateral movement was poor and never looked light on his feet when he was on the offensive he has to be planted to generate his power, and if you beat him to the punch he is stuck there to be hit Crawford would have a field day, and he struggled with throwing on the back foot or on the move, he was hit with the same shots regularly and didn’t have the ability to adjust, he seemed more focused on flashy movements than strategic movements, he over exaggerates a lot of shots with dipping angles, he has some of the fastest hands in boxing and but poor shot selection at times, his body shots are devastating and he can flick a jab in a flash, his combinations seem to be quite rehearsed rather than reacting to openings, there is nothing here that would trouble Crawford and that will be the case until buds retirement.
Boots can definitely be a force in the boxing world and he can improve and become a worthy champion but he is not the generational talent that Crawford is.

I'm sorry, but you are overrating Crawford if you're saying he is generational and Boots is not

The first male boxer to be undisputed in two weight classes, pretty much guarantees that status in my opinion

Hagler did everything better and defeated better competition. Has Crawford defeated a fighter as good as Mugabe

Ennis is head and shoulders better than everyone Crawford has fought. The Spence that Crawford defeated would've been finished by Ennis much earlier

I was half joking, but if you missed that, you're saying that Boots is?

I wouldn't say this. Crawford is a much better counter puncher than Ennis. Spence would actually give Ennis hell for some rounds, until Ennis probably breaks him down

There counter punching ability is about equal with Ennis actually having better timing. And i'm saying that "version" of Spence would've got brutally Koed much earler against Ennis. Again "version"

I personally don't think Spence was compromised. Outside of a few questionable moments he put it on Ugas and Garcia. If Spence beats Fundora it should kill the car crash narrative.
