I was watching MMA insider and heard them talking about a UFC-WEC merger. I actually like this idea. I would like to see faber-brown-torres and other wec stars compete against the ufc talent. I hope Faber goes up in weight and fight at lightweight. There are so many fights i want to see him at 155.

I'm saying yes simply because we don't get WEC in Australia.

I like the idea that we get to see premier fighters in the 135 and 145 division fight for no charge. I think the two orgs should become more closely linked. I think any great LW fighter (or FW or BW that can move up to LW, for that matter) should have a chance at the UFC LW division, but I don't think the UFC should necessarily adopt a FW or BW division.

No because the UFC is gone be flooded with lower weight fighters who will take away air time from the higher weight guys. It's just gone be a big mess and IMO it's unnecessary.

The lower weight fighters are great though, I'd rather watch Brown and Faber than Chris Leben.

I like the WEC much more than UFC these days. Unless Machida or GSP is fighting I don't really care about the higher weights.

More. Way more. A WEC card would suffer if you mixed in bigger guys, who with the exception of the tippety top of the pyramid are on average far less skilled and less entertaining.

Get rid of the WEC and increase the talent pool at 155. I'm not happy with them adding 125, 135 and 145 to the roster.

MAYBE add 135 as a final division but that is it.
