I don't need a rest. You need to refer to the video. "Arum said"...Yeah, *****, he lied to you again, and you believed him...AGAIN. :deal
...And you need to read AGAIN: Bruce Binkow, the chief marketing officer of Golden Boy Promotions, on Dec. 30 offered a 14-day cutoff as a compromise via instant message to Top Rank president Todd duBoef, who replied on Dec. 31 that 14 is no good.
:rofl:rofl you cant even specifically rebutt my argument. i now have to rest. talking to you is such a waste of time.:yep
The link and the video have done everything to "specifically" and conclusively blow your bull**** arguments out of the water. If you don't feel really ****ing dumb at this point then you're too ****ing dumb to know any better, which is dumber than I gave your dumb ass credit for. :yep
smart move by pac. Clottey plays the weight drain game to his advantage almost every outing. To be massive and unmovable. Pac is punishing clottey even before he gets in the ring by making it that much harder to cheat. Manny didn't need a catch weight for may bc may is a skinny dude. More weight will actually hurt mayweather's speed.
clottey would be too tired to throw much punches. The guy got bulky muscle that requires lots of oxygen and he tends to come in at 170. So he have to shed 26lbs from his norm. It is going to upset his camp and on fight night. Given short notice, he is just going to get a payday for this one. He won't have the energy to throw much punches.
if there's a catchweight this fight is basically pointless to watch. clottey has to nearly kill himself to make 147, anything less and he's ****ed.
this fight is a farce if clottey has to come in any less than 147. the guy is a sitting suck for pac as it is he's slow and doesn't throw punches....this fight could be at 154 and pac wins....anything less than 147 is just demolishing for clottey
Whilst I supported the 145 lbs catchweight vs Cotto, I am no longer happy to see Pac fighting at a catchweight in a welterweight match. His fight with Cotto proved that he is a legitimate welterweight so he should be treated as such. I will no longer buy the reasoning that he is the smaller guy; we all know he isn't.
If this is indeed true, then how is Pac any different from Floyd who asked JMM to bloat up to gain an unfair advantage? If I am to judge his legacy, I would look at this more negatively than the baseless PED allegations. Imagine, fighting a boxer who is inferior than him in most aspect then asking that fighter to dehydrate? This is not cool at all, Pac.
I thought Arum had said there would be no catchweight for this fight? No way I can see Clottey making 144. No way.
Sorry to disappoint some fans... http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/01/11/manny-pacquiao-to-fight-joshua-clottey-at-144-catchweight NO CATCHWEIGHT AFTER ALL...
